Shin nonchalantly remained on his sit drinking his wine.

As the murmurs gradually increases, the confused host repeated herself with less enthusiasm.

However, after such announcement there's no reaction from Shin as if he didn't exist.

Isn't he CEO Shin Keir? or did he recently change his name?

maybe the CEO have hearing problems? or is the mic busted?

Calin's parents who were busy socializing and madam Keir walked towards them.

"cousin Shin sure is rude, making a lady wait..." Hadi who first approach Shin, mockingly said.

"oh? since your so capable, I should learn from your outstanding performance next time i visit the corporate branch." Shin said with contempt, implying that his only best at pleasing women.

Hadi is a branch director in one of K.V corporations site, however if a complicated issues or problems arises, the branch would always pester the main branch since Hadi would always push the blame to the staffs instead of rectifying the matter, left with no choice, the supervisors relies on the main branch for assistance. In fact the site Shin visited earlier after he dropped Yeri at the mall is where Hadi works.

Hadi's face burned up from hatred and grievance, 'the bastard dare to look down on him?!' but before he can retort back, madam Keir meddled in.

"Shin what are you doing...are you deaf? get to the stage now!" madam Keir angrily asked but tried to keep it low so other guests wont hear.

Shin looked at madam Keir with a bored expression, "not only you insist i attend your banquet but also expected a gift. what do you want this time?"

"mother why are you mad? it's your birthday stop stressing yourself." Allister who remained mute earlier also butted in.

If not for her image, madam Keir would have gone hysterical now. The father and son duo is really testing her patience!

"stop acting like you both dont know, Allister don't you disrespect me!" madam Keir gritted her teeth, looking bloodshot at them.

The whispers intensified seeing the Keirs and Wangs huddled all in one corner, what's going on? is there really an engagement announcement? or it was just a baseless rumors?

Of all the commotion, Calin stay seated looking like a statue. Her face pale and her body has long turned numb, the complex emotions she's feeling muddled her mind...

Why is Shin not following her script?!

Mrs. Wang, Calin's mother worriedly place herself next to Calin staring at her daughter's frozen face while her father furiously clenched his fist and turned to Shin.

"is this how the famous CEO of the Keir family act? what an eye-opener! not only the rumors about you being ill-mannered your even insolent to your own grandmother." Mr. Wang scowled.

Shin merely turned a little. "who are you?" he deadpanned.

Mr. Wang looked stunned, everyone knows and honored him! plus there a close family friend to the Keirs! yet he suddenly felt doubtful when his gaze swept to Allister Keir coldly staring at him.

Did he offended him? Mr. Wang slightly felt regretful knowing how doting Allister is, but seeing his daughter's face those feeling quickly dissipated.

"enough! Shin don't test my patience, get to the stage!" madam Keir remarks, her body now trembling from rage.

Shin still look bored as he stood up and walked away with hands on his pockets. "old people these days sure are demanding..." he muttered but clearly heard by madam Keir and Mr.Wang.

Madam Keir's face twitched but unable to say anything since Shin's a little further now.

"mr.miles im so sorry...im really sorry...please im begging y-you...I-i i wont say anything...or ttell nyone" a woman can be heard talking, her voice choaked and stuttered from fear.

The man let out a sinister laugh making the woman shrank back, her forehead is bleeding and her body is full of cuts and bruises.

"you embarrassed me in front of everyone..." he coldly uttered.

"im ssorry! i-i won't ddo it again..." the woman kowtowed as her tears welled up. "ppleease don't k-kill me"

Erina Saito continously begged for her life, she didn't realize how dangerous he is till now. She was blinded by her dreams and money that she thought her life would change if she just stick to him.

"15 minutes...ill give you credit since you found out her name." the man smiled deviously.

"yeess! the shop assistant said she-s the heiress of Zhi corporation" Erina immediately confirmed.

"so? what are you waiting for?...tik...tak..."

Initially, Erina seemed puzzled but her eyes bulge out when realization dawned on her...just 15 minutes?!

"don't worry, if i catch you...your organs will surely benefit those who are in need." the man said in a thrilled expression.

Erina's heart race as her body shake involuntarily from fear, she force herself to stand up and with little strength started running out.

The man's men started laughing and taunted the woman as she faded in the dark.

"Boss your so heartless! you know she won't get any where far!"

"hahahaha 15 minutes and the hunt will begin!"

"Boss sure is playful!"

"I want information about the heiress of the Zhi corporation...plus pictures of her...lots and lots of pictures" the man demanded.

one of his guy whistled, "boss is that our new target? can't wait!" he lustfully licked his lips.
