Addicted to you 6 Dark Angel

Its been 3 days since her 18th birthday and Yeri is about to die of boredom. After her doctors reassured her parents that she has now recovered, they finally agreed to let the doctors leave; however they would have to revisit her for weekly check-up.

"my princess! mom is so happy your better now" said mrs.zhi hugging her tenderly..."you should just stay here instead of living at the dorm".

"but mom, its too far...you worry too much, it was just a fever" Yeri retorted, theres no way she will stay with her parents or her plan will be jeopardize.

"fever my ass! you can't even walk by yourself for weeks!" mr. zhi joined in the conversation, he happened to overheard the two women talking as he walked towards the living room.

"Dad your here!" Yeri stood up and hug her father,"will you stop overacting! the doctor already said im totally fine!" she said, pouting her lips.

"princess how about staying here for a month, once your fully recovered then you can go back to the dorm" mrs. zhi pleaded, looking at her with puppy eyes.

"mom no! i've already missed a lot on my studies and if i go back home everyday the travel is way too stressful for me, you know this house is too far from school" Yeri sulk in exaggeration.

"what do you mean by far? you brat!" mr zhi tried to sound angry..."your not walking or driving anyway! I've already arranged someone to drive you everyday..." he spoke, walking towards his wife to kiss her.

"ughhh! im being bullied by the two of you" Yeri huffed, stomping her feet, she crouched on the ground acting pitiful.

"thats not gonna work either..."mr. zhi chuckled, sitting next to his wife, he gave his daughter an exhausted glare."go back to your room and rest..."

Mrs. Zhi cant helped but sigh, she knows its partly her fault that Yeri is spoiled rotten. Back then, Yeri is just 8 years old when the previous Mrs. Zhi, Yeri's real mom passed away in a car accident. 3 years later, she came into the picture and Klaus introduced her to Colin and Yeri.

Colin, Yeri's older brother, is 4 years older than Yeri and doesnt seem to care of her relationship with Klaus but Yeri is quite the opposite, she clearly showed her dislike and hostile towards her.

Unable to bare a child, she stop dreaming of having a family until she met Klaus and was even more elated knowing he has two kids, not only she will marry the man she loves but a family she can call! Zenia knew it wasn't easy, especially towards Yeri, she's like a dark angel, loving but lost. It took her 4 years of coaxing, unknowingly spoiling her, when Yeri gradually opened-up and accepted her. Then just a year ago...she started calling her mom.

Breaking-off from her trance, mrs.zhi saw Yeri going upstairs and is about to follow her.

"no right man would want to marry a spoiled brat" mr.zhi abruptly spoke noticing her intention.

"what do you mean?! just by my princess face alone can cause a downfall of a nation! unless the guy is blind that i would understand!" mrs.zhi said fiercely.

"wife, you know how happy i am that you love Yeri like your own daughter...but i know you also understand my point" mr.zhi replied gently.

However, mrs.zhi remained silent, her arms across her chest while looking at him disdainfully.

Mr. Zhi laughed bitterly, he almost forgot that the woman in front of him is the spoiled queen! "mrs.zhi how about preparing for tonights business party? i know you need more time to get ready..." he said lovingly trying to change the topic.

"hmmph!" mrs.zhi walked out, not giving him a second glance.

At the same time, Yeri is busy looking for a dress to wear. She overhead from the servants that her parents will have a gala party to attend later, this will be a good chance for her to sneak out.

While shes busy tossing her clothes around, a happy fury creature went jumping on her bed, rolling and playing on the clothes she laid out on her bed.

"ah!!! carpet! you dimwit!" Yeri hurriedly grab her clothes though some of it were already wrinkled.

Carpet is a 2 years old male golden retriever and Yeri's beloved pet gifted to her by her father, however since Yeri left for college, Carpet feel lonely, even during the times Yeri was sick, the Zhi couple didnt allow carpet to get near Yeri.

"ok ok, i got it..." Yeri sneakily pounced on to Carpet, "you missed me huh?! i know...i missed you tooooooo" she giggled trying to hold down the big fluffy dog. Since she still have a lot time, Yeri didnt mind the dog crashing in.
