Yeri eyes momentarily twinkled upon seeing an adonis in front of her but realizing the situation, she narrowly stare at him.

"as expected, you are really gorgeous." Tristan grinned and sitted comfortablely across her. "no wonder the famous misogynist brat got obsessed~"

Yeri rolled her eyes, she already have a hint that his just another jerk related to the crazy jerk given that he seemed to know what's going on. "and you are?"

"you probably think im just another jerk..." Tristan smirked, "well, this handsome guy's name is Tristan Felan, I'm Shin's cousin and by the way i wasn't really expecting that Shin would resort to this kind of bullying, i apologize."

Yeri sneered, 'apology not accepted! forcibly confining someone is just considered as bullying?! no wonder their cousins! they both have a screw loose.'

"hahahaha~" Tristan laughed seeing Yeri's expression, "dont worry about it, that brat is actually easy to coax...you should be able to go out sooner, say maybe after a year or two."

"what do you want? Shin isn't here" Yeri asked gritting her teeth.

"i know or else i wouldn't be here, anyways i actually wanted to talk to you barbie heiress"

"don't call me that, im not a kid and it's annoying."

"alright sister in law." Tristan quickly respond.

"you-" she glared at him. "don't even call me that! if you insist ill call you uncle"

"pfft- alright alright i got it." Tristan appease her. "how about Mrs. Shin? its pretty safe than Mrs. Keir right? or Sheri? Shinye?... you know like how youngsters nowadays create a nickname for their favorite idol couple, oh! i think Kezi sounds cool too~" he smiled mischievously.

Yeri took a deep breath and decided to just watch something on tv instead, she increase the volume and ignored him.

Tristan chuckled, his intuition about her is right. Most women would act shy, weak, smart...etc. just to get his favor, even the daughters of the upperclass and elites do the same. But Yeri isn't, he can tell she's not even interested on Shin's wealth and family name or else that brat cousin of him wont have a hard time keeping her on his side.

The Keir clan is not a place for a timid and innocent woman, had it been that easy then Shin's mother wouldn't die and his own mother (Mian Keir) won't have to live the rest of her life stuck on a wheelchair! back then her mom showed no interest over the heir position yet the power struggle within the clan didn't spare her. Now with Shin's position, even if he can protect his woman's life there's no assurance she won't have a mental breakdown.

Tristan wanted a strong-willed and smart woman to stand on Shin's side, someone who is capable of protecting herself and Shin. Yeri as the only daughter of the main family, relatives or not, she have been exposed to people who would either curry favour or constantly plot her demise, despite that, she manage to turn the tide around.

So for Tristan, Yeri is a perfect candidate to be Shin's wife, with Shin's backing and Yeri's personality, she won't be appalled once she meet those schemers from the Keir family. As for the matter of heart, that's his bratty cousins job... unfortunately, the idiot took a detour and now it's going south at an early stage.

When he found out what Shin did, Tristan had the urge to smack the bratty devil - but of course he can't do that, Shin might be the King of business and underworld but his knowledge in wooing women is that of a toddler!

So Tristan dig deeper for something that would at least keep the two together at some point. Then he stumbled upon a top secret...initially when Shin asked to investigate Yeri, Tristan did not focus much to her family members plus it seems like the Zhi couple paid a substantial amount and bribed some people to have it restricted.

However, this highly confidential information is easy to obtain for an underworld figure and to Tristan its not a secret but an opportunity.

"Sheri, let's have a deal." Tristan seriously asked.

Yeri felt annoyed hearing him using a 'petname' but seeing his serious face, she decided to ignore it at the moment and turned off the tv. "deal?"

"hmm... you see Shin never cared about his reputation no matter how poor or damaging it is and im guessing you notice it as well, however as a CEO and as a brother to him, it is unacceptable to me."

"how touching." Yeri nonchalantly commented.

"well, i won't beat around the bush anymore... I want you to take care of Calin Wang." Tristan firmly spoke. "I'm certain you know what I mean, you just watched the news about her"

Yeri stared at him incredulously, 'is he for real?! she can't even go out, much more play poker with some unrelated woman to her!', she smiled stiffly and asked "Mr. Felan don't you think you are more than capable of doing that rather than pushing it to me?"

"well, let's just say my hands are tied at present" Tristan smiled. "also you are the girlfriend, why let some random woman try to fit your shoe."

'girlfriend who?! more like his prisoner! thank you very much.' Yeri scoffed inwardly.
