Shin has been doing the same thing for the past 3 days since he confined Yeri, afterwards he would leave for work before she wakes up and go back home once his notified that she's asleep. It breaks his heart seeing her bandage arms, as per his personal doctor who check her up, even though it didn't fractured her bones it will still deeply bruise and she needed a topical and oral treatment for pain.

He drew his head closer to Yeri that he can feel her steady breathing and gently kissed her forehead. Never did he expect, out of all people that he himself would break his own promise of 'not letting her get hurt.' Despite that, he cannot let her go, no matter how despicable and hypocrite he is, even if she will despise him forever...He already steeled himself for that outcome.

At K.V. empire, the eerie and dreadful atmosphere continued. For the past 3 days, there ruthless CEO continuously fired employees and demanded reports prior to the deadline. The women who had their hopes-up from the recent news about the CEO liking women are now curled up in fear trying to make there presence less visible.

Who said the CEO has a girlfriend?! even a grandma would gladly welcome there grim reaper than get caught up with the erupting volcano.! Now everyone is doubtful about all the news concerning the CEO, even the recent blast that the famous top model- Calin Wang is his girlfriend or fiance is probably false.

"and then?" Shin asked in a poker face.

The finance team representative doing the presentation was brazen and overconfident earlier, but just two words from the demon king burned all his confidence to ashes.

The supposed to be just a 30 minutes meeting has been dragged to 4 hours now that even the board of directors present dared not speak to save the presentor from hells pitfire.

"t-the next coming year, we expect an innccrease of 40% growth, even with inflation it won't even make a d-dent to the company" he nervously stated swallowing a mouthful of his saliva.

The representative felt his blood vessel raptured and is now hemorrhaging, the President's been asking the same question for hours now!

Shin blankly stared at the living corpse in front of him whose probably now at the stage of rigor mortis.

After 5 hours he finally dismissed the meeting that everyone swiftly run through the door like zombies afraid that the demon king might change his mind.

"I want the detailed report in relation to this meeting for year 2016 and 2018 between August to December" Shin nonchalantly spoke, there's just him and Secretary Yan left afterwards.

"right away Boss, uhm...Boss? are you finally going to get rid of those people?" Secretary Yan asked.

"They no longer entertain me...I've let the rats grew and spread like diseases yet there as dumb as ever." Shin sarcastically replied.

Secretary Yan is aware of the traitors within the company but aside from surveillance, he didn't expose them as per Shin's instructions. These people clearly underestimated the President since he barely attend meetings, others think his just bathing from his father's eminence and effortlessly became the CEO but Secretary Yan knows how insanely scary the President's intelligence, there's no need to watch every divisions report, just numbers alone he can tell if a rat manage to holed in.

Yeri lazily sit on the couch while watching tv. The bipolar CEO confiscated her phone, canceled all phone signal at his place and didn't showed up for the past 3 days! the maids and guards are even more useless, they would always give her a robotic response that the President is busy.

Busy my butt! he had a lot of freetime pestering her before and now his suddenly a workaholic?! It would have been easy if theres only few bodyguards, she can probably control 9-10 max at the same time but based from the time she got in here, there's at least 20 guards in total standing outside the door, hallways and elevator.

Sh*t! does he think this is a freakin military base?! what a waste of manpower!, Yeri cursed in her mind while changing channel eagerly, then her sight caught an ongoing entertainment news; newsflash: 'Is Calin Wang the secret woman of CEO Shin Keir?' from the tv screen, a woman can be seen going out of a building while being surrounded by reporters. Although she didn't answer any of the questions, her troubled yet happy facial expression says so.

Yeri raise an eyebrow from watching, wow another goody-goody two face woman. She can maybe fool everyone but not Yeri, her eyes is already a give away that she concocted the gossip herself. How laughable! just what era is it now, to think that the 'good-girl syndrome' is still overly use this days. Do men really dig this kind of facade?

While Yeri is into the news, she didn't notice someone arrived.

"greetings barbie heiress...we finally met" he said in a playful tone.
