A lie she would deeply regret later.

"Shin I have to go, mom's calling me... I don't want her to suspect that I have a boyfriend." Yeri spoke in a flirtatious manner.

Shin paused, hearing the word 'boyfriend' coming from Yeri is like music to his ears. "alright then...good night babe, dream of me ok?", he said playfully.

Yeri rolled her eyes, such a flirt! definitely not a sexist. "ok! bye bye!"

After that, Yeri got a permission to go for a night-out since her overly strict father is not around and her mom is just easy to persuade.

2 hrs later ~ 10 pm

A car is park not far from the Zhi household, they are highly trained bodyguards assigned by Shin to look after Yeri, unknown to her.

[Boss, Ms. Zhi left her house with another woman just now. we're about to follow their car.]

Shin stared at the message with a blank expression, the sound of an invisible chain shackled his heart yet the monster lurking within that sinister and desolate eyes has again awakened.

Yeri lied to him.

Greene Country harbor

At a warehouse within the harbor, dozens of dead bodies were lying around and only four still barely conscious. Standing in the middle of this scene of carnage is a long red-haired guy who single-handedly butchered the group of gangsters.

One of the gangsters pulled out his hidden knife from his shoe, his gaze darted not to the red-haired guy or the number of men standing on the sides but to the person cozily sitting in front of them with his legs crossed while puffing a cigarette - the infamous dark-horse or dark knight of the underworld, he swiftly run towards him but in a split second he felt his body turned numb. The last thing he saw is the red-haired guy before his consciousness blurred.

Tristan watch the glorifying violence in front of him with a bored expression. It's been a week but they have yet found the person his looking for. "red, you let some pathetic p*ssy gang mess our cargo deal?"

"trillion punch equals deadly punched!" yelled the red-haired guy, seeing that all of his opponent is down he walked towards Tristan feeling cocky. "did you see that?! in just 3 months I already mastered 8 moves!.. and call me 'the reaper!' not red." he complained, "so what do you think of my moves huh?! I'm thinking of naming my ultimate move - super flash kick, a thousand knife! or a thousand black arrow kick! ...blah blah blah..."

Tristan ignored the musclehead spouting nonsense, he don't really recall when exactly did he and Shin got closed with this idiot.

Back in high school, Red is a self-proclaimed gang leader, he would go around from school to school asking for a fight with delinquents and local mobs, until he crossed path with Shin and was beaten-up senseless. Since then, Red would always find ways to get inside there school just to challenge Shin for a fight but all of his attempts were futile.

Red knows a lot of martial arts aside from street fights, it's not even surprising he can beat up 20 people all by himself, it is for that reason Tristan let him handle any out of the country operations, given that the job doesn't need for the idiot to use his artificial brain. It's even apalling how did the musclehead manage to graduate in high school.

"hey trickster! (Red always call Tristan - trickster coz he gets schemed by him a lot and it's a rule not to use real name within the mafia)... don't you think we should let that loser(he means Shin) know what happened?"

"If you're tired of living go ahead and let him know... you can't even stop some insects from screwing our cargo." Tristan spoke full of mockery.

"huh?! I already told you I wasn't the one guarding the cargo when it happened!...why dont you blame L instead". Red snarled

"Master Red, you were saying?", a bald well-built man in all black suit just came in.

"yah L! too bad your late, you should have seen my deadly moves!" Red boasted.

"indeed too bad Master Red", L politely speak then he bowed at Tristan and handed a folder. "Boss, here is the details of the incident... I also got the name of the person who planned it.

The report confirmed Tristan's intuition, the cargo being compromised was just a ruse, the gangsters beaten up by Red were nothing but scapegoats. They were paid to cause a ruckus during the exchange deal with another organization leading to a dispute, although it was easily resolved by Tristan, the incident has caught the attention of border city custom officials halting the deal.

The main purpose wasn't to steal the cargo nor to create a dispute but to derailed the custom officials while a certain organization manage to infiltrate Sin City. Theres a strict hierarchy and rules in every mafia familia within Sin City and neighboring countries, to maintain that any external organization can't just do business without Tristan knowing it, yet someone is so bold and used them to invade.

"Spiros?" Tristan scoffed.

"yes Boss, there the largest mafia here in Greene Country and their current leader is Grego Dayton, his probably in Sin City now." L added.

"prepare to go back to Sin City..." Tristan smiled deviously,"...it's impolite to make the visitors wait"
