Shin tried to hold Yeri's hand so she won't be scared but Yeri keep on hitting and pushing him like a brat having a tantrum, he only have 5 minutes left before midnight, left with no choice, Shin lifted Yeri and carried her like a sack while his other hand is holding a paperbag.

"aarrrrrgh! Shin you jerk! put me down!" Yeri yelled, she keep on hitting Shin's back but the latter just keep on laughing.

"were almost there babe, just relax."

"heeeeellllppp!!! someone help!" Yeri exclaimed.

"hahahaha what are you doing, so cute..." Shin laughed thinking that Yeri is joking.

Despite the deafening silence and eerie surrounding, the two of them seemed like a couple who is just goofing around.

Once inside the mausoleum, Shin turned on the lamp light and gently put her down. Yeri felt a little bit dizzy so she stop struggling when Shin guided her to sit on a long concrete bench, her eyes roamed around and Yeri realize it isn't the Keir's mausoleum based from the place size and the name written is 'JUNG'.

She watched Shin took out two large candle from his paperbag and light it up.

"happy birthday...Mom." Shin spoke in a forlorn voice.

Shin's words shocked Yeri, she tried re-reading the name written over and over again that her brows crinkled, it was a good thing that she's facing his back. 'Angela Jung?... Jung? does that mean Shin is an illegitimate child? how is that possible? how did he become the CEO when his a bastard?'

Out of curiosity, she really wanted to ask Shin but choose not to; mainly because she is an outsider and as much as possible she doesn't want to dig deeper with her involvement with Shin.

"she likes scented candle than flowers..." Shin nonchalantly said, he already notice a bouquet of flowers when they arrived knowing it must be from the old man.

Yeri keep her silence even when Shin sitted next to her,to be honest, she doesn't know any comforting words.

"im sorry if i carry you like that earlier...i only have 5 minutes left to greet her on her birthday" Shin spoke weakly.

Yeri frowned, so far she have seen him get angry, happy, act childish and do or say crazy things but somehow, she doesn't want to see this lonely and weak Shin. "then why didn't you visit her earlier?"

"i was planning to, but i panicked when i cant contact a certain someone... turns out i was just blocked." Shin smirked.

Yeri glared at Shin, just how many times is he planning to rubbed it on her face?! does he really have to hold a grudge over little things? She was feeling a little guilty for thinking his planning to kill her but now she's taking it back, his still annoying as always.

Shin smiled seeing her cute angry face, he hugged her waist and rested his head on Yeri's shoulder, "i was really planning to take you here with me all along."

"then whose the other person? the Angel Jung?" she asked out of annoyance.

Shin's face looked grim, he emptily stare at his mother's tomb. "my mother...she's a mistress of Allister Keir, he got her pregnant again." Shin said in a tone of indifference, "she was 3 months pregnant when she was killed... since the baby's gender was unknown, that old man decided to go for Angel Jung."

Yeri felt like slapping her mouth this time, why did she even asked him? although that confirmed her thoughts earlier. "im sorry..." she softly said.

"don't be...i trust you anyway." Shin warmly said.

The Keir clan is like a Royal family in Sin City, respected, admired and idolized by many but just like a star, it is only bright and shiny from a far. Everyone have skeletons in the closet and the Keir clan is not an exception, for a mistress son like Shin the Keir household is like an endless battlefield.

Who would have thought that the arrogant and ruthless CEO of K V Corporation have this kind of dark past.

Yeri glance at Shin and realize something odd, did he just fell asleep?! Yeri tugged at his coat but he didn't woke up, she tried tapping his cheek and pinching his nose but he didn't budge at all.

It was when she move that Shin suddenly pushed her down the bench and hugged her like a bolster pillow, he even wrapped his long legs to make sure she can't escape.

She was so surprised that she didn't get the chance to push him, 'is he freaking serious?! he wants to sleep in here?' Yeri thought but let it go at the moment, she tried moving but Shin only tightened his grip so she decided to let him rest a bit.

She really don't understand his sudden attachment to her or what did she even do to gain his trust, other women would have already sacrifice everything just to be on her foot but this isn't what she want.

They say humans are fickle creatures, such complicated thing as 'love', she doesn't want any part of it but being Shin's friend maybe isn't bad at all.

Anyways, why is this scene somehow familiar? being this close to him face to face, she have to admit Shin is extremely handsome especially when his sleeping. Yeri smiled and poke his cheek, upon observing Shin, she detected his breathing has become unstable and his eyebrows knitted.

'Nightmare?' Yeri thought, 'such a kid' she chuckled.
