"Un," Jiang Xiao Liang nodded . He glanced at the direction of Yang Yun's quarter before he spoke to Yang An . "How is your brother?"

Yang An forced a smile . "He's doing well . "

Jiang Xiao Liang narrowed his eyes as he continued to stare at the girl . "Yang An," his lips curved into a small smile, "You can tell me the truth . "

The girl lowered her gaze and hesitated . "Physically, he's well . His injuries healed, and he can resume his activities without any difficulties . However, my brother hasn't been himself . I think his condition gotten worst after he was relieved of his duty," Yang An said with a sigh . "Mother was worried . "

Jiang Xiao Liang noticed the crease on the girl's forehead as she spoke . He knew that everyone around Yang Yun was worried about his well being . "He will get better soon . "

Yang An nodded weakly . "Big Brother Jiang, I'll take you to my brother's room . "

Jiang Xiao Liang followed Yang Yun's sister to his courtyard . Once they arrived, Xiao Liang thanked Yang An . Then, he stood outside the door and observed Yang Yun, who was at his study . His right hand held a brush .

The truth was, Jiang Xiao Liang did not know how he should approach Yang Yun . For years, every time they met, it would always end up in a fight . However, after listening from others, Xiao Liang was worried over Yang Yun, and thus, he came over Yang's household to visit his friend .

Yang Yun seemed as if he was detached from the outside world . His hand moved as he drew on the paper . The brush on Yang Yun's hand halted as he felt someone has been staring at him for a while . Yang Yun lifted his head and put his brush aside when he noticed a guest outside his room . "Xiao Liang? Why are you here?"

Jiang Xiao Liang opened his mouth to reply, but then, Xiao Liang thought that he couldn't say that he came to visit because he was worried . "Why? I cannot come here?"

Yang Yun sighed as he heard the questions . He walked away towards Jiang Xiao Liang and paused to create a distance .

"You," Jiang Xiao Liang pursed his lips and turned around . "Come with me . "

"Where are you going?"

Jiang Xiao Liang clicked his tongue . "Stop asking too much question . Just come along when I ask you to . "

Yang Yun frowned . But soon, he went after Jiang Xiao Liang after informing a servant that he would be away for a while and not touch anything on his study . Yang Yun trailed after his friends towards the woods where he frequently visits with Mingyue to collect herbs . On their way there, none of them spoke .

After an hour of walking, Yang Yun stopped in his track . "Jiang Xiao Liang, stop this . We've been walking for an hour . You better tell me where are we going, or I'm not coming . "

Jiang Xiao Liang stopped as he heard Yang Yun's voice . The truth was that Xiao Liang did not have a plan in mind .

The others had talked him into visiting Yang Yun and give him his support . However, he did not know how or what he should say . Jiang Xiao Liang thought that he would be able to figure out what he should say while they walk around . However, none of the words formed in his mind seemed suitable for him to say .

Slowly, Jiang Xiao Liang turned around . "We haven't sparred for a while . Accompany me for a while . "

Yang Yun's eyes widened when Jiang Xiao Liang suddenly rushed towards him with his fist . Yang Yun quickly bent his right arm with his fist on shoulder level to block the attack . "Jiang Xiao Liang! What are you trying to do?"

"Didn't I say to accompany me for a spar? I need a sparring partner," Jiang Xiao Liang said . Then he launched several more punches . However, each of his attacks was blocked by Yang Yun .

Yang Yun's expression darkened . "Jiang Xiao Liang, you stop this right now . I'm not in the mood to accompany you for a spar . You should find another sparring partner . "

Xiao Liang chuckled . "What should I do? You're the only one who was idle to accompany me . "

Yang Yun grabbed Jiang Xiao Liang's wrist as the other guy tried to punch him in the face . "Stop this! If you have something to say, speak properly . You don't need to do this . "

Jiang Xiao Liang narrowed his eyes . He hooked his legs behind Yang Yun's legs, causing Yang Yun to fall on the ground . Then he took his chance and threw a punch towards Yang Yun's face .

Yang Yun closed his eyes as he braced for the pain to come . However, after a few seconds have passed, he could not feel anything . Yang Yun opened his eyes and saw Jiang Xiao Liang's fist inches away from his face . He shifted his gaze and saw Jiang Xiao Liang's angry expression .

"Yang Yun, you coward!"
