Yang Yun shook his head . "It's too troublesome . "

"Troublesome?"

A glint flashed through his eyes as he wondered why she was asking him about the girls . "It would be bad if anyone misunderstands my help . "

"How can returning a handkerchief cause any misunderstanding?"

Yang Yun gave her a look and pinched her nose . He smiled when she frowned at his action . "Anyhow, it doesn't concern me . It's just a handkerchief . "

Mingyue smiled . How can she not understand Yang Yun's meaning?

She stared at him starry-eyed . "Yang Yun! What should I do? You're too handsome . This is why the girls tried to get your attention . "

Yang Yun grasped her hand tightly in his . "What else you can do? You have to stay by my side closely so that no one will get any ideas . "

He laughed, watching a smile bloom on her lips . Then, he reached for the lunch box she was carrying into his hand . "You're going to grandpa's place?"

Mingyue nodded . She watched him carried her stuff in one hand and grabbed her hand with his other hand . His hand slid to her palm and their fingers intertwined as they continued walking towards her destination .

"Then, I will stay around to help . " He turned just to plant a quick kiss her on her forehead .

Mingyue stared at him in a daze and the questions she wanted to ask him earlier disappeared . The corner of her lips curved up, and something warm filled her heart . Feeling his hand gripping hers tightly gave her a feeling of security .

Her smile slowly disappeared as she recalled the conversation with her parents, and later with Yan Zifu . "I heard that my brother has been having meetings with His Majesty these few days . Do you know anything about it?"

A small smile curved on his lips . "I guess you must have heard about the mountain bandit?"

"Un . " Mingyue nodded . "I heard from Yan Zifu just now . Will you be going?"

"The General assigned my team and me to go to the Luo Mountain to rescue the Minister of Personnel's son . "

Mingyue stared at the ground and lifted her head when she realized something from his words . "Assigned you? You mean to say my brother won't be going?"

"He's not . His Majesty needs him by his side . There are a few matters they need to take care of . " He paused to look at her face to face . "This time, I will lead the team into the mountain . Vice General Fei Liu will tag along as an observer . "

Yang Yun looked at his fiancee and saw her worry . He lifted their hands and touched the tip of her nose . His grip on her hands never let go . "Don't worry . I will be alright . "

"I know you will . I have faith in you and your team's skills . " She said and frown . "But this is the first time my brother let you lead on an expedition after your appointment as the team captain . I just can't help but worry . "
