Lu Wei came to find Yang Yun, and the two went to join the tribe members. One of the elders from the tribe was giving Li Hua and his parents some last reminder before they opened up the portal.
Yang Yun looked up at the sky and waited for another supernatural phenomenon to happen. When Mingyue touched the Shadow Grass, it was a solar eclipse. When he walked through the portal around the sacrificial tree, it was a lunar eclipse. When they returned from G City to Da Cheng, it was a full moon.
"What are you looking at?"
Yang Yun followed the voice and turned to his right and saw Chief Ye beside him. The old woman tilted her head up to look at what Yang Yun has been staring at for a long time. The stars scattered across the sky and the crescent moon hidden behind the clouds.
"I was waiting to see what kind of phenomenon would happen this night," Yang Yun said.
Chief Ye retreated her gaze and turned to Yang Yun. "What kind of phenomenon?"
Yang Yun stared at the Chief before he explained what had happened every time they traveled through time and space. Once he finished, Chief Ye looked at him and laughed.
"We no longer need those kinds of things to happen before we open up the portal," Chief Ye said. "Have you not look at the tree? The tribe members had stayed here for months to strengthen its spiritual power."
Yang Yun turned to look at the tree. Talismans were pasted and hung all around the tree. For the first time, Yang Yun noticed that the amount of talisman has increased since the last time he came here.
"You remember the last time I came with that black cat?" Chief Ye continued. "Do you think I waited for something to happen before I came with Xiao Mi? Of course not. Back then, when the big cherry tree stood in our village, the tribe members could travel to another dimension freely. But still, the spiritual power in this weeping willow tree was not as strong as the one in our village." Chief Ye had a longing look in her eyes as she stared at the Sacrificial Tree.
Soon, one of the elders came forward to inform their chief that the preparation was ready. The Nanlin Tribe gathered around the tree. With Lu Wei leading the ceremony, the others started to chant, and blue light gradually appeared on the tree trunk.
Yang Yun walked over to Li Hua. The two of them had a brief chat before the portal opened up completely. Before Li Hua and his parents stepped into the portal, Yang Yun asked Li Hua to sent his greetings to Xue Yi Ming and said their last goodbye. If everything goes well, then they would probably never meet again.
Once Li Hua and his parents stepped into the portal, the bright blue light disappeared, and the portal closed.
"Do you think Li Hua and his parents will arrive safely to the destination?" Yang Yun asked Lu Wei.
"Your friend has not been away from that place for a long time. Since the essence of his world was still intact from his belongings, he should be able to return safely," Lu Wei said.
The crowd dispersed from the Sacrificial Tree and headed back to the tent, where a few others were grilling some meat and vegetables for their gathering.
Seeing that there was nothing else for Lu Wei to do around the camp, Jiang Xiao Tian urged him to return to the palace. It has not been long since the three countries united. The country was in turmoil, and Lu Wei needed to meet his ministers to discuss the situation.
Although Her Majesty was capable of handling the ministers alone, the representative from the previous Qian Rong would not be at ease until the Emperor came back to work.
While everyone else was eating and drinking, Yang Yun took Mingyue to escape the lively party. The two of them went for a night walk and stopped as they reached a small stream.

When he thought that she should have studied enough, Yang Yun carried his wife away, and the two sat down on the dry grass to rest. As the cold wind blew over, Yang Yun took off his robe and draped it over his wife.
Just as Mingyue was about to return his robe, Yang Yun spoke. "It's cold. If you didn't want to wear them, I guess we should return to the camp."
Mingyue pouted, but when her husband did not budge from his decision, Mingyue could only tighten the robe on her body. Instantly, her body felt warmer. "It has been a while since the two of us gone out for a walk like this,"
"Hmm," Yang Yun agreed. It was true that the two of them had not gone out for a walk ever since they returned to Da Cheng. Because of Mingyue's condition, Yang Yun often worried that something might happen to her.
"Do you think we will see them again?"
He did not have to ask to know that his wife was referring to the Lin's family. "I don't know. It would be good to see them again. But, not seeing each other again is also a good thing. After all, we belong to a different world."
Jiang Mingyue sighed as she thought about the Lin's family, who had helped her when she was lost in the other world. She searched for Yang Yun's hand and held it tightly. "Yang Yun, let's never separate again."
Yang Yun kissed her on her forehead and said, "Good. "
Mingyue leaned her head on Yang Yun's arms and let him wrapped his arms around her. When something caught her eyes, Mingyue sat up straight and gasped.
"Mingyue? What's wrong?"
"Fireflies!" Mingyue pointed towards the blinking light around her. The sight of the fireflies brought her back to the memories where the two of them were taking a night walk during the Spring Hunt.
Back then, they were newlyweds. Because the cold poison attacked the Princess's body, Mingyue had to leave her husband and enter the palace. They only met again during the Spring Hunt. On the night they arrived, Yang Yun took her to watch some fireflies near the stream where the two of them had a date.
Mingyue's lips curved into a mischievous smile as she turned to look at the man beside her. She pushed herself up and planted a kiss at the corner of his lips. "This is your reward."
Yang Yun looked at his wife, inquiringly.
"Back then, you asked for a reward, but I was too distracted when I saw the Night Mist Flower," Mingyue said shyly.
Yang Yun laughed. He did not expect that his wife would remember such things. "This reward is six years too late." He pinched her soft cheeks.
"Didn't they say, better late than never?"
Yang Yun stared at his wife and chuckled. "Don't you think you need to compensate me for waiting for the reward for too long?"
Mingyue tilted her head up as she continued to watch him, "You… what do you plan to do?"
He did not answer. Yang Yun wrapped a hand on her waist, and another hand was pulling Mingyue's closer to him. Slowly, his lips descended upon hers.
