"The Chief said that Xiao Mi should be able to help," Yang Yun said. A frown appeared on his face as the black cat kept walking back and forth on the map.
Suddenly, Yang Yun started to question his sanity for trusting their fate to a black cat. If others heard what he was trying to do, they would surely think of him as crazy.
Not too long ago, Chief Ye had warned him that he only has a few months to help Mingyue regain her memory and for him to find a new spot that can connect him to their world. Since then, Yang Yun had spent his free time to find the way back home. He had roamed around the place where he first arrived with Xiao Mi and found nothing.
Yang Yun was planning to look for another spot, but he was afraid that he might not have much time.
One day, while discussing the matter with Xue Yi Ming, Li Ran overheard their conversation and suggested them to bring along a map to survey the area. At least, they can save time instead of going around aimlessly.
What Li Ran did not expect was that Yang Yun and Xue Yi Ming was going to let the black cat look at the map and choose the area.
"Maybe Xiao Mi needs some encouragement," Xue Yi Ming said. He looked into his bag and pulled out a food container. Xue Yi Ming removed the lid and placed the container beside the map.
Xiao Mi meowed and went to eat his food.
"Why did you have boiled fish with you?" Li Ran asked as he peered into the container. Then, he looked at his friend in shock.
"We can't let the cat go starving," Xue Yi Ming said.
"Normally, don't people carry prepacked cat food?" Li Ran said. In the container was flaked boiled fish. Li Ran could guess that his friend prepared them.
"Xiao Mi did not eat that kind of stuff," Xue Yi Ming said as he petted the cat on his head. "I tried."
Yang Yun sighed as he watched Xiao Mi. In the past, Mingyue would be the one who spoiled the black cat. And now, ever since Xiao Mi appeared in this world, Xue Yi Ming would be the one who spoiled Xiao Mi.
In the beginning, Yang Yun would be the one who prepared Xiao Mi's food. However, recently, Xue Yi Ming had taken over that task. Yang Yun was shocked when Xue Yi Ming brought back some toys and other things for Xiao Mi. In fact, Xue Yi Ming had prepared a room for Xiao Mi.
The other day, Yang Yun saw a show on the television where someone chose to spend his lifetime surrounded by cats as he was single. Seeing how Xue Yi Ming and Xiao Mi getting along too well, Yang Yun then worried that his friend would consider that life.
Xiao Mi licked his paws when he finished. Then, swiftly, Xue Yi Ming poured some water for the cat to drink. Once Xiao Mi had his fill, he stretched his paw to Xue Yi Ming's hand and meowed once. Only then did he return to the map. Xiao Mi walked around the map again and stopped. His gaze stayed in an area for a long time. Suddenly, Xiao Mi put his paw at a specific area and looked at Yang Yun.
"This is the place?" Yang Yun asked. "Are you sure?"
Xiao Mi replied to him with a long meow. Then, he stepped aside and started licking his body and ignored everyone else.
Yang Yun stared at the area that Xiao Mi had pointed at. He frowned when he saw the name of that place.
"Is this not the mountain area that we visit the last time?" Li Ran said.
"It is," Yang Yun nodded. Something flickered in his eyes as Yang Yun recalled what he had found in the foothill just before they leave the area.

Does it mean that the herb will be the key item that will help them to return to their world?

A smile appeared on Jiang Mingyue's face as she saw Yang Yun and the others sitting around the table. When Yang Yun lifted his head and met her gaze, Mingyue felt her heart skipped a beat.
This was the first time he saw her husband again after she was discharged from the hospital. Her father has gone out to visit the camp, and her mother went out to visit a few friends.
Taking this opportunity, Mingyue sneaked out from the Lin's mansion with her sister to meet Yang Yun and everyone else instead of resting at home. If they were not in a public area, Mingyue would have leaped into her husband's arms.
"Have you waited long?" Lin Tian Yu asked.
"Not really," Xue Yi Ming said. He stood up to empty the seat next to Yang Yun with tact.
Soon, Mingyue sat next to Yang Yun, and Lin Tian Yu took a seat next to Xue Yi Ming. Once everyone was seated, a waiter came over with a menu and left after everyone had ordered.
Yang Yun turned to his wife and reached for her hand under the table. "How are you feeling?"
"Good," Mingyue answered. Ever since she had regained her memories, the frequent headache had stopped. However, she would often dream about her parents and brothers in the other world.
"You've told your sister everything?" Yang Yun asked. When his wife answered him with a nod, Yang Yun turned to look at Lin Tian Yu.
"I believe your words," Lin Tian Yu said. "Since Mingyue said that the two of you were from another place, then, I will choose to believe your story."
His lips curved into a small smile.
"What are you guys planning to do?" Mingyue asked as she looked at the map spread on the table.
At this time, Xiao Mi meowed as if he was announcing his presence.
Mingyue glanced at her black cat and turned to Yang Yun. "You're trying to find a way to go back?"
