Jiang Mingyue was drying her hair with a towel when she saw her phone brightened up. She went to the table and grabbed her phone. Slowly, her lips curved into a smile as she read the text message from Yang Yun, asking her whether she was alright.

Just as she was about to press the call button, someone knocked on her door. Mingyue sent a quick reply to Yang Yun and opened the door. "Sister!" her eyes brightened when she found her sister behind the door. "Why are you not sleeping yet?"

"I can't sleep," Lin Tian Yu peeked inside Mingyue's room and said, "Can I come in?"

"Of course. Come in." Mingyue pulled the door wider to let her sister into her room.

Lin Tian Yu sat on the bed. Once she saw that Mingyue's hair was still wet, she stood up to grab a hairdryer and beckoned to her sister to come closer. "Let me help you to dry your hair before you get another fever."

Mingyue laughed. She sat down obediently and let her sister help her dry her hair. Mingyue glanced at her sister and sensed that there was something that was troubling her sister.

In the end, Mingyue chose to stay quiet and let her sister's mind wander as she dried her hair. Since Lin Tian Yu had come over to look for her, Mingyue was sure that her sister would spill what was on her mind sooner or later.

"Yang Yun said that you and he are married." Lin Tian Yu was momentarily speechless when she saw how her sister blushed. Lin Tian Yu immediately knew what the answer was.

"Yang Yun told you?"

Lin Tian Yu watched her sister in disbelief and gasped when Mingyue replied to her with a nod.

That's not right. How old was Mingyue when Xue Yi Ming brought her to the Lin's residence? Mingyue and her, they were at least six or seven years apart. However, Mingyue always acted and behaved as if she was a lot more matured than Lin Tian Yu. But still… how can she be married? Back then, Mingyue was still a child. "Sister, how much did you know? What did Yang Yun tell you?"
