General Lin stood at the door as he seized the man from head to toe. It was then that he recalled seeing this man before. General Lin immediately recognized the person who rescued his daughters in the woods. Although General Lin knew that this boy and Xue Yi Ming were friends, he did not know that the boy was close to his daughter, Mingyue. "What are you doing?" Mother Lin asked behind him. "Why are you stopping at the door? Why didn't you go in?"

Yang Yun stepped forward and greeted the Lin's couple politely.

Mother Lin snapped out of her trance. Seeing that her husband did not react, Mother Lin went forward and smiled."We've met a few times before. You're Yang Yun?"

"Yes," Yang Yun nodded.

"Well, don't be so stiff. Be at ease," Mother Lin said to Yang Yun.

Previously, the Lin's couple had invited Yang Yun over to their residence for a meal to thank him for saving their daughters. Back then, they have learned a few things about Yang Yun. The couple heard that Yang Yun was an orphan and was working with Xue Yi Ming at his security firm.

Because of Yang Yun's help, the Lin's couple had a rather good impression on Yang Yun. However, looking at the situation now, General Lin did not seem that he was happy to see Yang Yun in their daughter's room.

Mother Lin could only shake her head and sighed. Then, she went beside the bed and sat next to Mingyue. "You. How did you faint?" She looked as if she did not know whether to reprimand or to pamper her daughter. In the end, Mother Lin caressed Mingyue's hand and asked. "What did the doctor said? When can you get discharged?"

"The doctor said I was too tired and needed some rest," Mingyue smiled to assure her parents that she was alright. "Since I have regained consciousness, then, as long as my body's fine, I can be discharged anytime."

General Lin turned to Lin Tian Yu, who stood beside him. Before he could ask Lin Tian Yu to call the doctor, Xue Yi Ming had volunteered.

"You two sisters," Mother Lin sighed again. "How can the two of you hide something as important as this?" She turned to Lin Tian Yu and narrowed her to show her discontent.

"Mom, aren't I'm alright now?" Mingyue said. Then, she gave her sister an apologetic smile. "We didn't mean to hide anything from you. It was all because we didn't want to alarm you."

"That's right," Lin Tian Yu quickly agreed. "What if your health deteriorates from too much worrying?"

"You two girls." Mother Lin shook her head. Her expression showed as if she was angry at her daughters, but the small smile on her lips betrayed her emotions.

Meanwhile, Mingyue noticed that her father had not spoken a word ever since he walked in. She glanced at him and saw that although he was looking out the window, her father was observing Yang Yun quietly.

"Dad, what are you doing?" Mingyue asked. "Don't just stand up. Take a seat."

General Lin glanced at the empty chair. Earlier, Yang Yun had offered him the empty chair to sit down, but he had pretended that he had not seen or heard anything. However, since his daughter had asked him to sit, General Lin had no other choice but to sit down.

Mingyue bit down her laugh as she looked at how her father treated Yang Yun. She extended her hand to Yang Yun and looked at her parents. "Mom, Dad, there's someone I wanted to introduce you to."

The Lin's couple exchanged a glance. When they looked at Mingyue again, she was holding hands with Yang Yun. On the side, Lin Tian Yu was watching everything with her eyes full.

"Mom, Dad, this is Yang Yun, and he's my," Mingyue stopped herself before she said the word, 'husband.' She took a breath and continued, "boyfriend."

Mingyue sighed with relief. She was glad that she managed to stop herself in time. She did not know how to explain to her adoptive parents if she had accidentally introduced Yang Yun as her husband. Yang Yun looked at the Lin's couple, smiled, and gave them a proper greeting as Mingyue's boyfriend.

"Your boyfriend?" Mother Lin repeated. She saw her daughter nodded and turned to her husband.

General Lin continued to observe Yang Yun without saying anything.

Seeing the situation, Mother Lin chose turned to Yang Yun and chatted with him briefly. In the end, Mother Lin invited Yang Yun to come over their place when Mingyue had fully recovered.

At this time, Xue Yi Ming entered the room with the doctor. Mother Lin asked a few things regarding her daughter's health and heaved with relief upon hearing that Mingyue can be discharged right away.

"Mom, Dad, you two should go back first. Sister can help me with the procedure," Mingyue said. Then, she looked at Xue Yi Ming. "Brother Xue, can you help send me home?"

"No. The doctor said you need to stay home and rest," General Lin spoke before Xue Yi Ming could give his reply. "You two should go home. This way, your mother will be relieved when she can look after you."

"Dad," Mingyue was about to protest, but stop when she felt Yang Yun's warm hand over hers. She looked up and saw Yang Yun's hinting her to go back with her adoptive parents.

Actually, there are a lot of things that Mingyue wanted to ask Yang Yun. The two of them have been separated for years. Naturally, there are a lot of things that they wanted to talk about. However, Mingyue also knew that the timing was not right. She will have to wait until the two were alone before they can speak properly.

General Lin turned to Lin Tian Yu and spoke, "You go and deal with your sister's discharge."
