"You'll see her soon."

"I know," Yang Yun heard Xue Yi Ming's voice beside him, but he did not look at him. His gaze refused to leave his wife until she walked away to enter a room.

"Calm down. It will be alright," Xue Yi Ming said. He did not know how to comfort Yang Yun.

The two of them stayed in silence. After a while, Yang Yun spoke again. "Xue Yi Ming, tell me, how was her life here? How did she become a doctor here?"

Xue Yi Ming thought for a while. "Well, when Lin Mingyue arrived in General Lin's house, she was usually reticent. She did not talk too much with others.
