others claim that their dreams aren't their destined possessions while some think that dreams are just a force, that enable us to work harder than we should in order to have a betterned life.
life is a joke that we must laugh along with. it gives hope to some, and despair to others.
it promises Peace to some and calamity to others. whichever way it comes, time will continue ticking, the world will still move on and life continues.
" I must run my life to the end. I can't let everything be planned out for me. Roline thought to herself while putting the ready food on table.
"aunt Xia, food is ready.
am coming, but An is still freshening up. he will be here when his done.
it's okay. let him take his time. and if am to ask, when is he going back to work?

he doesn't work and he practically knows nothing about work.

Roline put her chopsticks down at the unexpected answer and asked with a shocked expression.

Xia looked at Roline for some seconds before answering in low voice.

"it's a joke, right? next time practice your jokes better that they sound funny. Roline said then picked her chopsticks and started eating with out saying a word.
An came down stairs when she was almost done. after some few minutes, she stood up and left for the stairs.
"the driver will be here any minute" she added and disappeared above the staircase.
An looked at Xia questioningly before asking.
"are we leaving?

"Is he that innocent?" Roline answered with her own question.
he is not innocent, he is just too lifeless. he never smiles. he has no inspiration and his own family want him in that state. a state where he can't help himself.

Xia explained everything slowly so that Roline gets a clear picture of her in-laws but, somethings are never clear due to explanations but rather one's standing point.
To Roline, the son-father pair was the one in charge, why else would they be that heartless to the extent of dening An education.
An was left alone on the dining table in a daze. he didn't notice Xia leaving.
when Roline came down, she found his food untouched.
