A Warrior's Path 199 Chapter 199. Heavens Mark

Several craters scattered around the jungle. Stark and that sky beast was fighting all over the place.

Stark fired Cero back to back but the creature was very agile, it dodged Stark's attack from weird angles.

Suddenly its body started to change, the bursting muscles all over its body shrunk rapidly. The thorns on its body shrunk as well and turned into dents covering it's entire body.

Stark watched this change very carefully, just because he was acting very lazily doesn't mean he wasn't serious. He was able to fully analyse the creatures battle capability. Without any warning the creature produced a weird sound and attacked Stark.

Stark dodged and fired a Cero but to his surprise he fired in the wrong direction. His body flashed and appeared few meters away from his previous location. The creature suddenly emerged out of the air and showed off its disgusting teeth.

The creature again produced a weird sound as it moved, this time Stark watched carefully and fired but he still missed. The creature suddenly appeared beside him and tried to chomp him.

Stark was fast enough to move but a slight nick could be seen on his clothes.

' It's using air and sounds to block my senses. It's like it's completely merging with the air.'

He tried to sense the air but still failed to track the creature, this astonished him and he remembered Ryu's words

" All of us are strong enough to stand tall in any mortal world but there are some weird abilities out there which even us would find very thorny, so don't be negligent."

Only now did stark understood the implications of such words. His gaze sharpened, after the creature disappeared Stark focused. The world in his vision changed as he sensed the breath of the World.

Ryu made all members of Titan learn Haki. This was a unique ability and it's potential was quite astonishing, for some reason Stark had managed to train Observation Haki to a very high level very quickly. Ryu connected this to his affinity as a long range attacker.

He sensed a light appear beside himself and dodged but still got nicked.

' My Observation isn't strong enough! '

As it stood Stark was only able to sense the creature when it was a couple of meters from him. This kind of short distance was enough to decide the outcome of any battle.

Suddenly Stark was on the defensive side, he flashed everywhere and dodged the creature. If he was a bit careless then he would be gravely injured. Seeing no other way to get rid of this nuisance Stark sighed.

He raised his Sword and muttered

" Noone and Nothing shall escape my aim.....

Pierce....

Los Lobos!!!! "

His Sword light up in white light and split into two. One light imprinted inside Stark's eyes and Stark placed his hands inside the other light, as he did so the glaring light on them disappeared, revealing two exquisite white guns. It's body was carved with a blue arrow pointing towards the mouth of the gun.

Stark opened his eyes revealing his light blue eyes but this time a circle with a cross mark extending outside the circle appeared within. This mark seemed the same as an Aim mark seen when looking through the scope of any weapon.

Stark breathed out, his eyes enlarged as the creature appeared again to attack him. Stark dodged and fired.

BANG!!

Two blue bullets shot out his guns and disappeared. The creature felt Stark's attack and dodged. Stark's fire missed but he kept his cool and put his guns inside it's holster. The creature appeared again and was about to attack Stark but.....

BOOM!!

Two attacks hit it out of nowhere. Stark looked back and shot again, the creature quickly hid but...

BOOM!!

The creature was hit again. Blood splattered in mid air and the creature appeared. It's right side was gravely injured and bleeding profusely. No matter how it dodged, no matter how far it went Stark's attack struck it.

Stark shot again. The creature tried to hide with its ability but it seemed useless. Stark's attack missed again and again but it seemed to trace the creature and attack it.

The creature was injured all over, green blood spilled out from its body and dripped down. Its wings were destroyed and it's movement speed fell drastically.

Stark " You can't escape. My Heavens Mark never miss."

This was Stark's release. When his body was remoulded it was connected to one of the most prestigious Bloodlines that had ever existed. This Bloodline is collectively called as Houyi Bloodline.

Houyi was hailed as a Divine archer. His descendants were all astonishingly talented in archery or any form of long range weapons. As time passed his Bloodline was known throughout as Houyi Blood. Stark now possessed this Bloodline.

With this Bloodline along with his ability Heavens Mark, Stark's achievements will be no less than Houyi's. His eyes possessed Heavens Mark, once someone is marked by it, even if they dodge it they will still be pursed by his shot.

Stark fired again.

The creature tried it's best to dodge but failed. After ten seconds a mutilated body fell down from above. Stark sealed his sword and strolled along. Along the way he fought several other creatures and killed them.

Under the dark night....

A figure was moving along a treacherous path. Every step of this figure was light and would cover several meters. This was of course Ryu.

The moment he got here Ryu felt someone spying on him. He also felt something call for him from the same direction, he knew this was a trap set by whoever was watching him but Ryu didn't care. He was interested to see who it's was, moreover he wanted to understand what this continent was.

From his understanding over the past hour he concluded that this was a seperate space. One way in and one way out to the outside world but Ryu felt that there was something more to this space.

Soon he reached his destination. A grant building stood before him, several large creatures were strolling around this grant building. When Ryu entered the vicinity of this palace he felt some kind of restriction placed all around it.

' These restrictions... it seems to be a cage of sort but..... what's it caging? '

He looked at the entrance of the large building. His eyes changed to Chaos, under his eyes the palace became transparent. Several runes and arrays covered the palace and it's immediate vicinity.

Suddenly Ryu felt the same gaze he had felt when they arrived here. He raised his head and looked above. A handsome man with black hair and a strong physique was looking at him with cold eyes.

Ryu smiled " So it was you who called out to me? "

The man smiled coldly " You knew it was a trap and yet you came. Are you dumb or are you that confident? "

Ryu smirked " We will find that soon enough."

The man laughed " Haha! A mere Half Immortal and you have the guts to talk to me like that."

Ryu smiled widely " You will change that arrogant tone of yours very soon. As for now.... let's dance! "
