Kenpachi released his Shikai. A huge butcher blade now rested on top of his shoulder. His eyes gleamed with ferocity.

At this point he didn't realize the peculiar expression on Yachiru's face. Her physical body seemed to phase in and out. But Kenpachi didn't notice this. He charged at the creature covered in vines with his blade.

His blade came crashing down on the creature. This creature seemed to quiver from Kenpachi's attack, it's movement became restricted and it seemed to submit before Kenpachi.

Kenpachi cleaved through it.

" Che.... that was a let down. Hey Yachiru!! Let's go! "

Yachiru jumped down and sat on Kenpachi's shoulder " Hey Kenny..... let's go in that direction."

Kenpachi " Are you sure you are right? I don't want to fight these weaklings anymore."

Yachiru patted her chest and guaranteed " Of course I am sure. Let's go! let's go! "

Kenpachi shrugged and ran towards where Yachiru pointed. But unlike what Yachiru said, all he kept encountering were weak and didn't put up much of a fight.

" Yachiru! what's with this? You said there will be strong opponents, but all I keep seeing are weaklings."

Yachiru retorted " Your sense of direction is so horrible Kenny. Hah, what would you do without me? "

Kenpachi snickered " I ran through where you pointed!! "

Yachiru shrugged " Like is said you have a poor sense."

He was about to have another word with her when he felt his feet sunk down. He tried to jump out but it seemed useless.

Yachiru laughed " Hehe... looks like we are in a pickle."

Kenpachi looked down. He could feel something restrict his movement and drag him down. If he released his Shikai then he will be able to get out but Kenpachi was excited to see what was pulling him down, if it was a strong opponent then....

Kenpachi laughed at such prospects.

Soon he was swallowed by the greyish ground. Everything returned to its eerie calmness.

In a dark greyish cave, the light here was very dim. This space was fully covered in runes and arrays, the soil beneath was also murky with a faint foul smell.

Suddenly the space above the cave twisted. Sand poured out from the walls above and two figures dropped down.

Kenpachi looked around for his opponent but was disappointed seeing nobody greet him. Yachiru was looking curiously around, she seemed to have sensed something and looked far towards a corner.

In that corner laid a small altar. From a person's perspective this alter seemed inconsequential but to any Rune or Array master, this corner would be the most central location of this cave.

Kenpachi sneered and yelled " Hey!! The f**k are you waiting around for!! Come out and fight!! "

After some time a voice resounded through the cave.

" As expected of someone from the Royal Demon Family. Your thirst for battle is on a different scale than a low level Demon."

Yachiru was slightly surprised hearing the word Demon, Kenpachi on the other hand shouted.

" The f**ks a Royal Demon!? Come out you bastard!! Let's fight!! "

" Hmm.... looks like you don't know your origin. Doesn't matter, once I get your blood essence I can finally breakthrough and escape this prison!! "

Kenpachi felt a powerful pull on his body. His body flew uncontrollably towards the altar in the corner. Seeing the altar Kenpachi grinned

" There you are!! Let's go, NOZARASHI!! "

A great Butcher blade appeared in his hands. He swung his sword at the altar. A surprised voice came from within.

" Well.... your ability sure is interesting! "

Nozarashi seemed to have crashed upon a mountain as Kenpachi was bounced back. He spat out a mouthful of blood but a crazy smile surfaced on his face. He laughed wildly and charged again.

Like before he was thrown back. With each attack the wounds on his body increased but his crazy nature was also being drawn out, each of his successive attack was stronger than the one before. Even the voice showed astonishment.

" You are no ordinary Demon. Even among Royals your Bloodline Purity is something to be covered and envied. Looks like I am being blessed!! Haha!! "

The altar shook and a figure escaped from it. This figure looked like a human except, it was several meters larger than Kenpachi, Black runes covered it entire body and it had two curved horns on his head.

The black figure looked at Kenpachi and spoke " To actually be able to take that much damage and still increase your power... HAHAHAHA!!! Finally I came escape this place!! Royal Demon, my name is Divii!! I am a Curse Demon!! "

Kenpachi grinned " Don't care!! Let's fight!! "

Kenpachi rushed at Divii, who stood there like a mountain. He leisurely struck Kenpachi and planted him across the cave's walls. His eyes shifted to Yachiru and said..

" You are his soul and yet you can exist outside? You aren't an independent part of his soul either..... interesting."

Yachiru blinked " And you will be killed by Kenny."

Divii " Him? I don't think so. He is the highest ranked Demon I have ever seen but he doesn't know how to use his Bloodline and his Cultivation is weaker than me. Tell me, how will he kill me? "

Yachiru smiled " Because it's Kenny."

Divii sneered " Blind faith? That does make sense since you are his soul. But his fate was decided when he was thrown before... "

Before he could finish his words an attack with tremendous power came at him. He raised his hands that was shaped like a claw and blocked it.

Kenpachi was now fully covered in blood, but his eyes showed excitement. He eyes turned into the colour of blood, a vague energy drifted from his body. The Curse Demon shivered when he felt this energy, for a second a scared expression emerged on his face and then he calmed down.

Divii looked at Kenpachi " Eventhough you don't have full control of your Bloodline, it seems you have cultivated the right Manual."

Kenpachi grinned " Cut the chit chat!!! "

He swung his Sword again but this time Divii caught it. He pulled Nozarashi and got infront of Kenpachi. His claws straightened like a blade and pierced Kenpachi's gut.

Kenpachi coughed out a lot of blood. A black miasma lingered above his wounds. Kenpachi could feel his energy become slower and weaker when this energy got inside him.

Divii smirked " Can't circulate your energy, can you? This is the power of a Curse Demon. We have the innate ability to poison any form of energy!! Slowly you will lose control of your energy and become powerless then you will be killed and consumed by me!! "

Kenpachi was kneeling, his breath became rugged and his body was sweating. Blood and sweat mixed along with the strange miasma covered his entire body. His body was beginning to change, like a beast about to awaken.

Yachiru who was watching this all this time walked upto Kenpachi " Dummy Kenny.... This weak miasma was enough to beat you? You still don't understand me."

Kenpachi was confused " What are you talking about Yachiru? "

Yachiru " Kenny.... The power you have always felt within me, didn't you find it familiar..... like it was part of you? "

Kenpachi was even more confused. But as Yachiru was acting differently, he felt something wrong. He could feel Nozarashi throb, like it would explode. His body began to heat up, he could feel the miasma within his body being devoured by his blood.

Yachiru " Don't you see now Kenny..... this is your strength. It's what soul reapers call....
