A Warrior's Path 171 Chapter 171. Next Titan

Ryu's words startled Ichigo but a second later he smiled.

" Let's show him our strength, Zangetsu! "

Both his blades hummed in approval. A tremendous Riatsu erupted from Ichigo, his figure flashed and attacked Ryu.

Grasping his Sword, Ryu's eyes were fixed on Ichigo

' Good speed."

Ichigo was already in motion to cut Ryu, his large Sword made a slash at Ryu only to be dodged. Ichigo was prepared, his figure flashed again. He got above and swiped his trench blade to his side.

Clang!

The sound of metal colliding rang through the air, Ichigo and Ryu exchanged few moves. Ichigo was surprised when he saw Ryu dodging his attacks with such ease.

' As expected of someone like him.'

Ichigo gradually got accustomed to Ryu's monstrous strength. It didn't shock him like it did the first time he saw his strength. He made some distance between them and slashed his trench blade. A faint line of energy swept past the air as it went towards Ryu.

Ryu held up his Sword and cut this energy apart. No explosions occurred, the cut was so smooth that the energy wave didn't explode on contact.

Ryu increased his speed, they kept on attacking. During these seven days Ichigo went through thousand if not tens of thousands of battles. His techniques were sharpened as well as his instincts.

But after half hour of fighting, finally he couldn't hold on any longer and gave up.

" Damn, you are a monster."

Ryu laughed " Haha, just train hard. Aizen should be a piece of cake for you now, Of course you could refine your strengths even further, if you could do that I reckon only Yamamoto can match you."

To be honest, eventhough they didn't fight with the intend to kill Ryu had to release upto seventh seal to beat Ichigo. The kids strength took a huge leap when he finally understood his strengths. Anyway his part was over.

Ryu let out Ichigo. He was waiting for the arrival of his next teammate.

Ichigo's increase in strength was only known by Rukia and his close friends. He kept the rest of them in the dark, not because he didn't trust them because he felt it was needed when dealing with someone like Aizen.

Days passed,

Ryu and the rest had gone quite far in refining their souls. All of them got accustomed to their Zanpakuto's as well.

Ryu could feel several strong presences appear within the town. He knew that the final battle between Soul reapers and Aizen was about to start. He also felt Ichigo's Riatsu disappear.

' Huh? Inoue wasn't taken by Ulquiorra then why would he go to Las Noches. Seems like his advance into that place can't be diverted. Oh well, either way things are about to get pretty interesting.'

Ryu could feel a shift in space, it seemed like soul society had displaced the entire Karakura town. But this didn't matter to Ryu, It wasn't hard for him to return to the original world.

He moment he returned he felt several strong Riatsus, one was extremely glaring. This was obviously Head Captain,

Genryusai Yamamoto.

This man and Ichibē Hyosube were the only ones who could make Ryu release upto the a significant part of his strength. They were that strong, he really wanted to fight them but the time isn't right. If Yamamoto were to be Injured during their fight then that's gonna bring disaster upon Soul society..

Ryu watched on with Interest, Aizen sure was confident. He actually dared to appear, it wasn't that long before he fled and yet here he is with that confident smile on his face. Ryu used Chaos eyes and checked the condition of Aizen and the Espadas.

Apart from Aizen and one other Espada, the rest had burnt marks over their bodies. This was Madara's gift the last time they appeared here. Madara, Zoro and Law were also looking on with interest. However their eyes were focused onto the next member of Titan.

Madara commented " He has got quite the strength within him but sadly he didn't train one bit to obtain such powers."

Zoro shrugged " Can't blame him. According to what Ryu said, he was born as such."

Law " I am more interested in why that guy is so confident enough to appear here knowing that you are also here."

Zoro nodded " Yeah. Didn't he flee the last time you fought him? What gave him such confidence? "

Madara snickered " How would I now? "

Ryu suddenly spoke " They are starting."

The fight had begun. Like in the story, Captain Toshiro fought against Espada number three,

Tier Harribel.

Captain Suifeng fought Espada number two, Barragan.

Captain Shunsui fought Espada number One, and the strongest Espada, Coyote Stark.

The battle was intense, Yamamoto kept a close watch on Aizen. Nobody could understand what was going through his head, but with Yamamoto keeping watch on him it didn't matter anyway.

There were four other battles happening at four corners as well. Karakura town was displaced by using four seals at four corners, once they are disrupted Karakura town will be back to its previous space.

Ikkaku, Yumichika, Shuhei, Kira fought against their opponents. They were the ones chosen to defend these points and it seemed like Ikkaku was the only one having trouble, the others had their battles in control.

Harribel's three sisters cut off their arms and created a creature with tremendous power. Yamamoto had to personally make a move to kill that thing. Ryu was astonished when he saw them create that thing.

' Eventhough it was for an instance, still to form the concept of creation..... unbelievable.'

To create a living being through their flesh is achievable but what Ryu was astonished was about the concept of creation that brought out such result. Creation and Destruction can be said to be the highest of concepts or Laws in existence and here he found a tiny silver of creation.

' The world sure is mysterious. I still have a long way to go.'

Madara suddenly said " Things aren't looking good our teammate."

All of them looked at their new teammate. He was being forced into a corner.

Zoro traced his Sword " Should I interfere? "

Law shook his head " Not yet. Let's see how far he can go."

Ryu nodded, the reason he chose this guy was because of his talent and composure. Someone such as him would be perfect for Titans, moreover Ryu felt that if he could gain his trust then he is someone he can trust with his life.

More of Aizen's lackies showed up, this put the Soul reapers under pressure. Jushiro was Injured as well. The fight wasn't looking good for the Soul Reapers, but suddenly some new people joined amidst the battle.

' Viserds. Tremendous power they have but still can't match upto that old man.'

These new people were the experiments Aizen did back when he was part of Gotei 13. They were supposed to be dead but somehow they survived and integrated Hollow powers with Soul Reapers strength enhancing their fighting Capability to new heights.

Law " Hey that guy is about to keel over."

Ryu " Oops, guess it's time we make an entrance."
