A Warrior's Path 13 Chapter 13. Nine Tails Attack

Four months passed by and during this time Ryu has achieved Mid level in Chakra Control. As the time neared for the nine Tails attack Ryu found something in his inventory. It was 2 containers split in the middle with one side filled with some form of green liquid and the other one with a cyan gas.

Ryu : navii what are these containers for?

Navii: It's the containers for Minato and Kushina's body and soul. The green liquid half is where the body is stored and the cyan half is where the soul of the same person is stored to stop the link between the body and soul from breaking.

Techniques: PCM, Perfect Rebirth, Chakra Manual, Compoundium of Seals(Mastered), Hiraishin, Chidori(4 forms)

Now that all the preparations are done Ryu simply waited for Obito to attack.

In a small building away from the village a women was screaming in pain. Kushina finally gave birth to baby Naruto. Hearing the baby's voice Minato came in and went directly to Kushina. He could feel the seal of the Nine Tails weakening.

Minato: I will strengthen the seal ri..

As he was about to reinforce the seal he heard a voice.

' Step away from the Jinchuriki, Minato. '

Minato turned around to see a man clad in black with mask on his face with a single eyehole to the right holding his newborn son. The Anbu and 3rd hokage's wife lay on the floor dead.

Minato said: Be calm.

Obito: I am very calm. Step away from the Jinchuriki.

As he said this he threw the baby into the air. Minato quickly caught the baby but found paper bombs attached to his clothes. Minato used Hiraishin to teleport away. He placed the baby in a secure place. Minato teleported to Kushina and saw an extracted kyuubi attacking Kushina. He quickly teleported her out of danger and then to where Naruto was.

As he was doing this, the village was thrown into chaos by the emergence of Nine Tails right inside the village. Sarutobi quickly ordered for the evacuation of the civilians while he donned his fight suit.

Minato teleported into the village, the kyuubi spotted him and threw a Bijuudama towards Minato who teleported it over a distance.As the Beast Bomb touched the land it produced a loud explosion levelling out the mountain range in the distance. Obito attacked from behind and Minato countered but it slipped through him. As Obito was about to suck minato inside his dimension he teleported away.

Minato: The only Uchiha to have controlled the Nine Tails is Madara Uchiha. Are your Madara Uchiha? Why are you targeting the village?

Obito: You could say I did it on a whim or it was planned out.

As he said this two chains came out of his sleeves with weights at its end. Minato knew he is not an ordinary opponent. As they fought Minato analysed his opponent while thinking ' whoever touches the other first wins '. while he thought this, a blue revolving sphere was formed in his hand and smashed to the masked man's back.

The attack connected. The man bled and stood up. He said: I lost focus for a second..

Before he could finish his sentence Minato appeared before him and used a contract seal to break his control over the kyuubi.

Obito: One day I will control this world.

He said this and left. Minato seeing this got a feeling that he wasn't lying. Meanwhile sarutobi and village shinobi were containing the kyuubi. Minato summoned a giant toad on top of the Kyuubi. The Kyuubi was preparing to fire a Beast Bomb but suddenly it vanished. The shinobi's saw a bright flash in the distance.

The house where Kushina and Naruto were was destroyed. Minato had Kushina and Naruto in his arms. Kushina produced Adamantine chains from her back and suppressed the Nine Tails.

Minato was preparing to perform the Reaper Death Seal to seal half the Kyuubi inside him forever and the other half on Naruto but suddenly Kushina faltered for a second and using this opportunity the Nine Tails attacked Naruto and Kushina trying to disrupt the seal. Minato and Kushina got in between but the Nine Tails already pierced through their body.

Minato performed the Reaper Death Seal and sealed half of the Kyuubi inside him and the other with Naruto.

When they were at their last breath a figure suddenly appeared before them. The figure was about 3 years old with a deep shade of red. Minato and Kushina recognised the new arrival. It was Ryu.

Ryu: Kushina oneesan, don't worry. You will get to spent time with Naruto but not now. Right now i am not strong enough to achieve that but believe me I will in the future.

He then looked towards Minato and said: I will be preserving both of your bodies as well as your souls in these containers.

Ryu took out the two containers and pointed it towards Minato and Kushina. Both of didn't understand what was happening but knew that he was giving them an opportunity to be with their son. They were happy at the thought of this.

Ryu turned the containers by holding their ends. He threw it to Minato and Kushina. they caught it and as they did their bodies were slowly absorbed into one side and their souls to the other.

when it came to Minato's soul the container mimicked his soul and let it be absorbed by the Reaper seal. After both their bodies were absorbed, a perfect clone of their bodies were laying on the floor which was produced by the container. This type of body will only exist for 1 week after that it will disappear.

After doing all of this Ryu silently left. A few minutes after he was gone Sarutobi along with a number of ninjas came. As they saw the 4th Hokage dead,they all grieved. Sarutobi ordered to retrieve their bodies and to prepare for the funeral. He saw Naruto with the seal and knew what happened. He picked him up and left for the village.

Without them knowing a small figure was watching them. As they left Ryu also went home.
