A Warrior's Path 116 Chapter 116. Three Years Later..

All Elders as well as trusted Ninja within ' Shinobi ' who are Jounin and above were given manuals to train in. They swore an Oath and elected what best suited them. Currently Cultivation was only made known to higher levels of ' Shinobi '.

Ryu had built a library where he kept manuals he took from Navii. Each manual was connected to an Oath stone, only by verifying as a member of ' Shinobi ' and agreeing to few conditions could one learn them. Each manual was graded as well.

Elementary < Mortal < Earth < Heaven < Saint < God < Divine

Each grade was further sub divided into nine sub grades. Ryu placed hundreds of Elementary, Mortal, Earth and Heaven manuals inside the library, as for Saint and above, three grades combined only had about sixty manuals.

Time passed like a river, never stopping. In the blink of an eye three years had already gone by. Konoha no longer existed instead in its place stood Shinobi Headquarters.

These three years brought many changes to this world. Unlike before no village suffered from poverty, with Ryu's teleportation circles trade flourished, Every village prospered. Crimes that were common in the past was now a myth.

Eventhough the number of missions regarding fighting decreased dramatically noone looked down on ' Shinobi ' strength. Behind that facade of peace lies monsters that hold up this world. There are organisations around the world who benefitted from war before, they were the ones most affected by peace. ' Shinobi ' kept these kind of people in check.

Three years also brought about huge changes within higher levels of Shinobi. Everyone who started cultivating showed huge increase in their powers, especially Naruto and Sasuke. Their strength shot through the roof.

No kidding, their generation produced many geniuses, the generation before them was also filled with geniuses.

Shinobi Town,

Streets were filled with all kinds of colours, kids ran around, elderly enjoyed warm rays of sunlight, couples laughed merrily as they walked around, Vendors were busy attracting customers... a lot has changed.

Shinobi world was atleast three times bigger than Ryu's previous earth but it's population was nowhere near even one tenth of it. The reason was simple, war. War plagued this world, the life expectancy of an average Ninja was about thirty years and that's the best case scenario.

Shinobi Building,

At the top floor, a handsome man sat behind a desk as he calmly went through some paperwork. Just then a beautiful women walked in with a tray in her hands. Tea as well as some sweets were placed on it.

Izumi " Itachi, have some tea."

This was Izumi. After Shinobi was established, she volunteered to become Itachi's assistant. At first they had to go through mountains of paperwork everyday. Every minor matter had to be processed by Itachi himself but based on Ryu's understanding of his previous world he brought a new system.

Literates were hired to sort these issues based on their importance and only those above level three are to be placed before Itachi. For this plan to work they had to find people who were educated, but then another problem popped up. Only people from clans were given higher education while common people only received just the basics for living.

Minato proposed a solution to this, that was to start an academy. After every kid goes through Ninja academy, those with aptitude will join Ninja course where they will be trained in both the ways of a Ninja as well as given proper education.

As for those who have no aptitude for being a Ninja, a civilian. They will be placed in the scholar course where they can be educated to become a scholar.

This proposal was accepted very quickly, with wood style users it wasn't hard to construct a building. Until they get graduates from Scholar Academy Minato and Sarutobi with several others who were proficient in handling affairs helped Itachi. They detailed out instructions on how an issue is graded and such.

After one year of hard labour they were liberated when the first batch of scholars came out. Eventhough the number of them weren't that high still their work load was reduced by a large margin. In the coming years it will only get better this was a comfort to them.

After three years the working structure was perfect. Itachi was relieved of mountains of paperwork, now he only need to sort out issues at or above third level.

Itachi raised his head and looked at Izumi, his face showed a vague smile. Not only the world, Itachi also changed during these years, he smiled often as well. Two year after war, with some encouragement from his brother and others Itachi popped the question. Izumi said yes and they got married.

He put down what he was doing and got up. He walked and sat down on a couch to the side. This is where he relaxed from time to time.

Like a dutiful wife, Izumi gracefully poured him some tea. Itachi didn't take his eyes off her face, Izumi saw this and chuckled. She handed him one cup and sat down near him.

Izumi " How was today? "

Itachi " Not bad. Next batch of scholars should come in a few days."

Izumi " Ah! I forgot about that. That's good, what about the issues in the land of waves? "

Itachi spoke calmly " Their country is too hard to access. So i send Naruto and Sasuke to clear out those rogues surrounding a few islands and built bridges connecting them. It's been three months since they left and from the latest info they should come back in a week. "

Izumi nodded then a smile donned her face " Are you ready fro the big day.

Itachi smiled " Yeah. I can't believe both of them are about to get married. How fast time goes, can't believe those two actually stepped up."

Izumi rolled her eyes " Like you are one to talk. Tell me, if they didn't push you, were you ever gonna ask me."

Itachi's smile was strained, seeing him like this Izumi laughed heartily.

Meanwhile Uzumaki Residence,

Minato and the others gathered here today to discuss Naruto and Sasuke's wedding arrangements. Ryu was also present, three years made him look much more mature but it didn't take out that blinding charm he had.

Minato " Basically everything's done. Now the only thing remaining is the bride's side. "

Hiro " Kushina and Akane have already picked out their dresses, so that's covered. Anything else."

Ryu " I don't think so. If something pops up we will deal with it."

Minato smiled bitterly " I can't get anything wrong otherwise Kushina will kill me."

Hiro also shuddered when he imagined his fate if that happened, his face got more serious " Let's do a check one more time."

Minato nodded. Ryu didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

" Give me a break !! This is the fifteenth time, can't you guys cool down, nothing will go wrong. "

Hiro protested " Easy for you to say. Akane and Kushina basically dots on all of you, while we get the short stick."

Ryu laughed " Haha, not my problem."

Minato smirked " Will be yours if you don't get married soon."

Ryu's laugh died down. He did plan to marry but Mei's position as an Elder took most of her time. Until Chojuro is ready to take her position he can't get married. Akane and Kushina understood his reasoning but he knew that they can be unreasonable sometimes.

Hiro had a playful smile " You look worried, my dear son."

Ryu gave a deathly glare at his father " She is already teaching Chojuro, so it's only a matter time."

Minato and Hiro laughed but agreed. As long as Chojuro was capable to take on the position as an Elder, Ryu can get married anytime.

Days passed, a week later Naruto and Sasuke returned. Times changed these two boys, both of them now looked stunning. Sasuke and Naruto were the dreams of many young ladies alas both of them were already taken.

After they got back, Itachi granted them few weeks off since they are getting married. Naruto and Sasuke are close as blood brothers so they decided to hold their wedding together.

Day of their wedding was approaching fast.
