'We need to unify the three great empires . . Gupta empire, Magadha empire and Gandhara empire . . Gupta and Gandhara empires have an alliance since our empress was the princess of Gandhara empire . . now is the time to form an alliance with Magadha empire . . I think Prince Pinaka and Princess Samyukta are already in agreement . . we just need to speed up the things . . . once we conduct the marriage then the strength of the combined army of all the three empires will be unbeatable . . ' all the council members agreed . . suddenly a messenger came in and announced that the emperor of Magadha . . Krishna Chandra was requesting an audience with the emperor . . Pinaka's father, emperor Surya Gupta rose from his seat along with Pinaka and went to receive the emperor Krisha Chandra (Samyukta's father) . . . the emperor Krishna Chandra looked a little shaken . . Pinaka went to him and said, 'emperor, were you able to visit Samyukta? ' Krishna Chandra looked at him and said, 'not yet Prince, I wanted to meet the emperor first . . ' Surya Gupta looked at him and said, 'emperor Krishna Chandra, we failed to take care of Princess Samyukta . . I hope you can forgive us . . ' Emperor Krishna Chandra looked at him and said, 'emperor, please . . I only hope you were able to identify the culprit and disclose his motive . . ' Pinaka then explained what happened exactly and how they were able to guess the motive of the culprit was to drive a rift between both the emperors . . Krishna Chandra nodded, he said, 'Mir Al Zaffar . . the ruthless tyrant . . our country needs to stand united against him . . otherwise we will lose . . ' Surya Gupta said, 'emperor, I agree, we were thinking if we could get the kids married soon . . on the day of Dusshera is the coronation ceremony . . if marriage can happen before that . . there will not be any external enemy to come between us . . ' he quickly added, 'it is not a political alliance, we are only interested to take it forward at the earliest because the kids are in love . . and before coronation it is customary for the Prince to be married, . . ' Krishna Chandra said, 'of course emperor, let's go and meet Samyukta and discuss . . ' Surya Gupta said, 'Pinaka, you please accompany your father in law, I will finish the council meeting and join you . . ' Pinaka nodded and along with emperor Krishna Chandra he walked towards the chambers of his mother to meet Samyukta . . Both the emperors knew that in the bottom of their hearts that this marriage alliance is of utmost political importance as the current situation of Hindustan had lot of unrest . .

Pinaka and Krishna Chandra went to empress Chandramathi's (Pinaka's mother )chambers . . Samyukta was sitting on a chair and empress Padmini (Samyukta's mother) was oiling her hair while empress Chandramathi was feeding Samyukta some dry fruits . . this scene moved Krishna Chandra's heart . . he felt that though this marriage had political benefits, he couldn't have found a more loving house than this for his darling daughter . . everyone had a cheerful conversation . . emperor Surya Gupta finished his council meeting and came in to meet everyone . . he said, 'so, shall we call our Raj Guru* to set an auspicious day for the marriage? ' everyone cheered in agreement . . Samyukta smiled shyly . . she blushed attractively . . Pinaka's heart missed a beat . .

Meanwhile the nine day celebrations of Dusshera festival in the Gupta empire continued, the public was ensured of the well being of Princess Samyukta . . the festivities were being continued on a grand scale . . but each and every individual was being checked and their identity was being confirmed before entering the palace and the celebration arena . .
