A Slave who became Emperor Chapter 31

All the people gasped looking at Pinaka fall, they turned towards the direction from which the dagger came . It was a man who was tall and well built . . he had a black band around his head, he was dressed in black clothes . He was standing on the wall surrounding the wrestling arena, he immediately jumped down the wall, climbed on his waiting horse and sped away . .

Kailash Nanda ordered few soldiers to catch him, they ran towards him immediately . . Samyukta and the empress ran towards Pinaka . . blood was gushing out of Pinaka's wound, he was slowly losing consciousness . . . few soldiers immediately ran towards him and lifted him . . the vaidya (doctor) was immediately summoned . . Samyukta was trying to pacify the empress, . . she could notice that the wound was not too deep . .

The vaidya immediately stopped bleeding and applied a herbal paste . . he took Pinaka's pulse, he said, 'empress there is no need to worry . . he must gain conscious by night . . just keep feeding this medicine every hour . . I will come by night and examine again . . '

Emperor Kailash Nanda and emperor Krishna Chandra Came and took an update regarding Pinaka's condition . . the empress hugged her father and started crying . . he pacified her . . he said to Samyukta, 'my dear, stay here with Pinaka . .
