A God's Apocalyptic Entertainment 72 Smack!

I started to rush towards Liam with my back pack full of potions, but even with my top speed, the wolf would be able to kill him several times before I got there.

Thankfully I wasn't the only person here as his sister had already sprinted out. She was standing in front of him and staring menacingly at the black wolf that was closing in. I had no clue when she had reached there, or when she had started moving.

But I could now possible make it, before it was too late.

The other 10 wolves were also making their way over, and it was the only way I could stay alive. I sprinted with my life on the line, as I watch the woman and the black wolf clash.

*Boom*

The collision between the wolf's front paw and the females arm actually caused a huge boom to sound out, as the air was displaced around it.

This was frisking insane!

The most astonishing fact was that the woman hadn't been moved back by the force, neither had the wolf. They were equally matched in strength!

My eyes shined softly as I used analyze on this black wolf, it had to be the pack leader. And its attributes must also be higher than the ones we just thought.

My eyes widened as I saw its level, it was already a level 15!

I couldn't even see its attributes, I probably wasn't a high enough level, but it being the alpha wolf of the pack meant there was no way it was weak. It had to be the strongest.

As my eyes widened I reached in to my bag as I rushed over, I needed the magic potions to get Liam back on his feet. No matter how overpowered his sister was, she shouldn't be able to take it on her own.

My assumption was right, as I looked on, both of them blurred into motion.

*Smack*

The woman was sent flying as a paw came from her blind side, catching a glimpse of the woman's face she also seemed surprised.

I didn't have time to watch as I got in a relatively good distance from Liam. I quickly threw potion bottles at him. It was best for a person to drink them, but they would seep into the skin. I had only just learnt this fact in this fight, but it was essential.

I threw out potions as fast as possible, as I continued to run. His sister was still in front of his body and holding on as best she could against the wolf. It wasn't going good though, as she couldn't keep up with the wolf's speed.

They were of the same strength but not speed.

*Bang*

*Crack*

*Boom*

More sounds vibrated out as I finally reached his body. He was still on the ground in a fainted state. Lifting the vial as fast as my hands could, I poured bottle after bottle down his mouth. He spluttered up the first potion so, for the next few, once I tipped them down I would hold his jaw shut.

He choked a bit, but it was fine in the end. He was still in a half addled state though.

"Wake UP!"

"WAKE UP!"

I screamed at him to try and wake him up, I even shook his body, but his eye lids only shuttered faintly.

We were running out of time!

*Smack!*

With all my power, I lifted my hand and smack his cheek. It turned red fairly quickly and finally forced him awake. I was happy for about a millisecond, before my own hand started to dull and ache. His skin was too damn tough, just slapping him had caused my own hand to hurt!

But it did the trick.

"Where am I?"

*Boom*

Another sound rung out as he looked up at me with dazed eyes, he was up, but had no clue what was happening!

"Hurry…"

I tried to quickly explain what was happening as a large force slammed into my body.

"Umph"

I was winded as the large force knocked me to the ground and banged my head. A huge pressure weighed down on me, as I felt the hot stinking breath of an animal breathing down my neck. I almost gagged as I smelt the bile and blood mixed in its mouth.

This is too damn real!

I looked up at its bared razor teeth and tried to force the body off me. It was one of the normal wolves that had survived. I struggled with all my might to shake the body off. But its huge paws had pinned me and its weight locked me down.

The sharp grin on its face almost seemed like a maniacal smile as it opened its jaw to take a bite, and end my life.

I'm not going to die like this!!!

That was all I was thinking as I struggled even more, I would not die like this!!

As it was about to chow down on my head.

*Puichi*

I watched on as a sword came from the side and impaled itself from one ear to the next. The strength that was holding me down seemed to be a lie as it left. And all that remained was the weight that was pressing on me.

The blade was removed just as fast as it came and blood started to drip down onto my face. The head lolled down and collapsed onto my neck. The teeth that had been so menacing before were resting on my neck, but had no strength to take my life.

My heart relaxed as the impending doom came and went, and I looked to the side. Liam was standing there with another wolf coming behind him. He looked down at the blood on his sword, the tattered gear he was wearing and then down at my face.

The eyes that had been blank before had returned to their usual cold. They sharpened as his ears twitched. I was going to voice out about the wolf behind him, but before I could say anything he turned around and impaled the wolf.

The wolf that had been trying to sneak attack him from behind, gave an almost dumbfounded look as the sword went through its chest. That was when I heard his voice; it had been different before when he had just woken up. It sounded normal, like a person his actual age who woke up from a night of partying.

"Right."

But the voice I heard now was completely different, the coldness and grit in it would send a shiver down a person's spine.

"I'm in this hell hole."

He spoke quietly as he pulled the sword out.

Yes, his back.

That was the only thought I had before I watched him turn towards the black wolf that was fighting his sister. His aura that had been retracted before blasted out again and locked onto the black wolf. It sensed the aura that had appeared again and disengaged from his sister.

Backing up it looked at us with deep red eyes and let out a low growl. The killing intent in the growl was like nothing seen before. The other wolves that had reorganized themselves gathered behind the black wolf.

There were only 8 of them left now. With the black wolf that made 9 in total.

His sister, who realized that Liam was alright, sent him a smile and retreated back to stand next to him. The 2 grouped stared down each other, as if waiting for the other to make the first move. I could finally see us winning this fight. Before when there were too many wolves to count it almost seemed hopeless to fight back.

But now with only 9 left I saw a glimmer of hope.

I quickly ordered my thoughts and grabbed the backpack that had been flung to the ground. There weren't many potions left, but there should be enough.

"Here!"

Quickly while they were not fighting I threw over as many potions as I could.

We could win this fight!
