I used analyze on the new enemy quickly, while I considered if I should back off slowly and retreat.

This was bloody bullshit!

Aren't royal class strain infected supposed to be rare? They had to be Rare!

So why in the love of god, is there one right here. Ella was already born from this hospital, what is the likely hood of another being born here?

*Slurp*

Looking over her status I couldn't see her damn attributes, probably because she's a level above me. And what the hell is with her name, where did she get it? Like I mean Zoey doesn't sound like a zombie name.

Did she just hear the name at some point and become a Zoey, or did she eat someone then take their name.

NO!

I shook my head, what the hell was I thinking about at a time like this, back to her status. I grimace as I stared at it.

"Ugh."

I mean judging her off Ella's specs and the fact she is a level 8, her attributes would be way higher than mine.

*Crack*

This is utterly ridiculous, no one could have possible made it out of this hospital with a monster like that guarding the door. My palms where sweating buckets and shaking as I realized the threat I would have to face.

I turned to Ella again and handed her my sharp blade, my mind was very clear at this moment. I couldn't possible land an attack on this, Zoey; I would have to leave that to Ella. She would be able to keep up with her while I acted as a distraction.

Wait, what happened to the noise!

While I was out lining the best plan I could think up of, the sound of eating stopped. I quickly turned my head to focus on her.

She had finally stopped eating and turned our way. The blood stained mouth of hers looked our way with a smile, before distorting. It changed to a questioning face and I finally got to hear her voice.

At least she didn't straight out attack us.

It would give me more time to come up with a plan.

"Sister?"

She said that in an inquisitive tone as if she wasn't sure. She stared right at Ella and didn't move her gaze. Ella also stood still and stared back; she tilted her head and also gave her voice.

"Sister?"

Zoey smiled again and then turned her vision to me. The gaze sent a shiver down my spine; I was definitely prey in her eyes.

"And a meal?"

Her voice was so close to Ella's that if I closed my eyes I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. But the coldness that she referred to me with, was scary as hell.

Wait how did she learn to talk?

Ella suddenly became all defensive and frowned at Zoey, before shouting back.

"No, father isn't a meal!"

She almost growled that out in a protective manner as she stared daggers at Zoey. Zoey just tilted her head at the claim, before licking her lips and standing up.

"No, he is a meal. And he looks delicious!"

She finally grinned at me, showing her pearly white teeth, they could instantly shred through me.

"Well father does taste delicious, but he isn't a meal. He is father!"

She had a troubled expression as she retorted back. Hell I almost wanted to hit her over the head for saying I was delicious, she was encouraging her. Zoey's smile grew bigger and she started to slowly walk towards us.

I put myself on guard as she continued to talk to Ella.

"Sister, you are mistaken we have no father."

Ella was upset with her remarks but she continued to walk closer not noticing, as she sent a gaze of disdain at me.

"Even if we did, he wouldn't be so weak"

And then she licked her lips again.

"And so squishy."

"Don't talk to father like that!"

Ella started to get angry and I could feel her raging on the inside. Her gaze became cold as she looked at Zoey and readied her blade. This wasn't a good sign, she wouldn't follow the plan I had set.

"You are not my real sister if you cannot see who father is!"

Her voice had chilled to a startling degree as her intent to kill flourished. Her aura of a ruler expanded and was ready for battle.

Zoey's steps faltered at the sight, her aura also started to rise. She looked at Ella once before looking back at me, her gaze trying to kill.

"What have you done to my sister?!"

I was at a loss for words when her voice came out. What the hell does she mean, I did nothing. I flinched back at the voice, before steadying myself and pulling out 2 swords. It wouldn't do much to hurt her, and I had no clue how to duel wield swords.

But at least she would focus her attention on me. She didn't seem to want to hurt Ella at all. It was weird now that I thought about it, but she didn't show any hostility towards Ella.

Because they were a part of the same species they looked at each other the same? Or maybe it was an instinct ingrained in their bodies not to attack one another.

Ella seemed to be disregarding this as she was now my kin.

I couldn't let my thoughts wonder too much though so I focused once again.

"Answer me Meal!"

I truly had no answer for her as I prepared myself, my danger perception was cranking into overdrive right now. Ella stood in front of me again with her stance ready to battle. At the shout from Zoey she was ready to pounce as she shouted back.

"Father is not a meal!"

Zoey's eyes flickered again before a calm smile emerged on her face. She looked sweetly at Ella and talked in a reassuring tone.

"Don't Worry Sister, I will deal with this meal and will re-educate you on how we are superior to such meals!"

"Of course we are superior to meals. But Father isn't one! Why can't you see that!?"

I was surprised at Ella's reply, judging from how she was talking to Zoey, she actually didn't want to fight. But because of how she wanted to attack me, Ella wasn't going to let that happen.

Zoey didn't reply as she instead started to sprint towards us.

Not good!

I could barely keep up as she moved so fast, my eyes tried to lock on to her as she moved closer. I readied my blades and got into a defensive stance, or the best one I could think of. I tried to keep track of her as Ella also started to sprint forwards to meet her head on.

Just from the one instance of seeing Ella run towards her, I could tell that she was outstripped in speed. As the two closed in on each other, Ella swung her sword to split Zoey in two but was easily dodged. Their auras both gushed out in my vision and clashed with each other.

They were evenly matched as neither could beat the other in the battle, but as Zoey was able to outstrip Ella in a physical confrontation, Ella couldn't land a blow. This didn't mean she was instantly defeated as Zoey wasn't retaliating at all.

She seemed dead set on not attacking Ella at all. But as the battle started to tick on, going into the 20th second, the frown on her face was growing deeper and deeper. I wasn't able to provide Ella with support at all and she wasn't following our plan.

I was supposed to distract Zoey while Ella comes from a blind spot and fatally wounds her, not that this plan would of worked it seemed. From watching the fight, I could easily tell that my sharp blade was doing nothing to hurt Zoey's skin. Ella had been able to land a glancing blow or two as they fought, but left nothing but a few scratches.

Zoey had frowned at the blows but nothing else happened. It wasn't looking good for us. As I was trying to think of a new plan that could work, Zoey was fed up with the fight.

She was frowning heavily as the fight drew out as she continued to dodge. She finally snapped with anger and retaliated after one of Ella's swings. She drew back her hand and sent a heavy punch towards Ella's chest.

"Enough! It seems that you are dead set on protecting this meal!"

She said it as she sent a disgusted look my way. Ella took the hit and was flung through the air. A bone would have broken from the force of that hit. She then cracked her knuckles as she continued and chased after Ella's falling figure.

"I think you need to be disciplined!"

Ella didn't have time to react as she sent another attack at her falling mid-section. Ella was slammed in to the ground as the wind was kicked out of her. Zoey stood above her as Ella groaned in pain.

My heart clenched as I saw the scene and I started running over. I couldn't do anything to this infected, but I had to do something. All the plans I could think of wouldn't be able to help me at this moment.

Zoey stomped her foot into Ella as the gear she was wearing cracked.

"Ahhhh!!"

Ella screamed in pain as she was being stomped on, I made my way over as fast as I could. I slashed out with one of my swords at the defenseless back of Zoey, but she didn't even turn her head my way. She continued to stomp as if I was a fly not worth mentioning.

"Ahhhh!!!!"

Dammit!

My body cooled down as my cold rage kicked in, I kept attacking her with all my strength as she didn't respond. I couldn't leave a mark with the swords and they broke after a few swings. There was no point using the remaining swords so I switched to trying to kick and punch her.

It was like I hit a metal board as I tried this method and I gave myself more damage than I did Zoey.

Ella's voice was becoming quieter as time went on and Zoey mercilessly kept kicker her again and again. My Rage peeked and I think it might have even leveled. But I couldn't concentrate on that, I just keep trying to get Zoey off Ella.

"Urgh."

Ella's voice was starting to get very quiet as I wrapped my arms around Zoey's throat and threw back with all my Weight. Zoey's foot finally stopped mid-air as I felt her mouth constrict.

Finally she stopped!

As she stopped, she threw her head back and head butted me in the face. It was like I was hit with a sledge hammer, as my nose was broken and bleeding all over the place. I fell back my head rocking as Zoey turned her body to look at me.

She still had that disdainful look on her face, looking down at me.

"Weak."

She said that as I was trying to pull myself up, she sent a kick my way and connected with my shoulder. The bones instantly broke as I was sent flying across the room.

Her strength was too much!

I broke a few more bones as I heavily impacted on the floor disorientated, before I could pick myself back up Zoey stood above me and sent a fist towards my arm.

"Argh!!!"

The bone broke instantly as I screamed out in pain. She didn't care as she picked me up by my neck and stared at me. Her eyes were chilled as she looked at me, I could feel the anger she had towards me. She then smile and licked some of the blood off my face.

"I don't know what you did to my sister, but if you're this weak there is no way you could be our father."

She then nibbled on the side of my cheek where some blood was splattered, her teeth instantly ripping through and took the skin.

"Ahhhh!!!"

She smiled even brighter as she swallowed and looked at me.

"My sister was right though, you are delicious!"

My eyes flickered in the pain and moved all about the place, my head was cold and concentrated right in front of me. Her face was almost exactly like Ella's, I was about to be eaten, I could tell by the ravenous gaze in her eyes. She wanted to eat fast.

"Too bad I couldn't share this with my sister, she does seem fond of you meal. Oh well, this will be a good lesson for her."

She then giggled to herself.
