"DAMN MEAL!"

The meal was getting ready to pounce on father. Its mouth was watering after having tasted him.

A strange feeling radiated out from me as I stared at the meal. My vision started to oscillate and I could see into it. There was a type of black scattered throughout the meals body. The strange feeling compelled me to grab this blackness and as I did, the meal froze in place.

I could feel the meals body, I could influence it.

"You!"

I stopped the meals body as I walked slowly towards it. My head was cool. Even though my blood was red hot, my mind was as cold as ice. I gripped my hand tightly, so much so that I started to bleed.

The closer I got to the meal the stronger the strange feeling intensified. I could see more into it.

"You!!"

I clenched my teeth as I noticed a pure red settling in its body, I instinctively knew it was a part of father. I moved closer and grabbed towards the meals head. Grabbing its throat I lifted it up and stared into its eyes.

The meals eyes betrayed dread as I looked at it. It had finally recognized its inferiority.

"You, you ….!"

I didn't know what to call this thing, I felt disgusted even looking at it. Even touching it was making me feel sick.

It wasn't a meal.

It was an insect, an inferior being.

It should be honoured to be a meal for us!

"You should be grateful!!"

My grip tightened around its throat as the strange feeling intensified.

I pushed the screen away, I didn't care about it. I continued to stare at the lump of pure red going in its body.

That is fathers!

It cannot have it!

My vision became clearer after the screen popped up and I could see the beauty of fathers' blood. This thing was too ugly to have it.

I pulled my hand back and thrust it towards the blood. As my fist plunged through its fur, it went straight for the blood and as it reached it, the strange force appeared again. It was like when I first woke up, I started to absorb the blood.

Taking it all out, I ripped the insect apart and threw it across to its brethren. I had no appetite for such an ungrateful being. Finishing that I rushed over to father, his body was shivering and sweating all over, the connection between us was trembling.

Tears appeared in my eyes as I stared down at his pale face.

What do I do?

I always feel better whenever I eat. But father is different from me, he doesn't eat these insects, he eats those weird objects. Will they work?

It was worth a try, I scrambled over to his bag and pulled out all the objects, but how was I going to feed it to him dammit? I held the objects up to his mouth, but he can't chew them. I thought quickly then crushed them up into pieces. This should help.

I opened his mouth and put them in. I knew he still wouldn't be able to swallow them, so I tilted his body up and poured water down his throat. But he instantly coughed it back up.

Crap!

"What do I do!?"

I screamed in frustration.

As I was starting to despair, a sound from the door way caught my attention. Turning my head over, I spotted more insects. They walked into the room and stared at the aftermath of the fight. After seeing their dead brothers they growled towards me.

My Blood boiled even hotter.

"You ungrateful insects dare to attack us again!!!"

There were 8 more insects flowing into the room and coming towards this direction. I could feel their blood lust and hunger towards me and father. It angered me even more.

The strange feeling came about again and I focused it on the incoming insects. I felt my strength strain slightly as I pushed the feeling, but the insects stopped in their tracks. I once again got up and quickly went to finish of these bastards; I needed to get back to father fast.

I looked at these inferior beings as they tried to free themselves from me.

It was futile.

I took out my rage on them and tore them to shreds, ripping them apart with my teeth, hands, and feet, whatever I could use.

Another screen appeared as I was finishing them off; it took a bit of stress off me as I controlled them.

As I finished, I moved back towards father. I still had no clue what I could do. But as I stared at him, I noticed I could also see into him as well.

It wasn't as apparent as the insects, but I could faintly see into him. And right now, where that disgusting being bit into him, there was a shade of black, trying to taint father. It wasn't moving very fast, and something seemed to be impeding its movement. But it was slowly tainting him.

I couldn't let that happen!

I focused on the black shade and tried to force it out. I had a pretty good control of it, and could stop it in its tracks. But to force it out, seemed to be impossible. My strength was leaving me fast, as I tried to move it out.

Luckily for me father was producing a white shade in his body that was fighting back and destroying the restrained black shade. After an unknown amount of time, when my strength was about to be fully used up, the black shade was eliminated from his body.

Once it was gone, father stopped shaking and his sweating had reduced by a lot. The connection between us strengthened again and I felt closer to him now more than ever before.

I pushed the screen away again and sat down, I was drained of energy. Not physical energy though, I still felt physically strong, it was more a mental tired.

After sitting down for a few minutes I moved back over to father. His face was still pale, and his blood was soaking the floor around him. His broken arm wasn't bleeding anymore, but it didn't look right.

Tears gathered in my eyes as I looked down at him.

He looked so fragile.

I'd never seen father like this before.

It didn't make me feel good.

I moved his arm so that it looked normal and absorbed the blood he spilled. It wasn't good to let it stay there.

I sat down and stared at him, he would wake up soon.

He would wake up soon.

I cried as I waited for him to wake up.
