I let out a breath of air as my body slumped to the ground, that fight was the hardest I've ever had. If it wasn't for the new skill I got, I would have died today. A strong sense of fear gripped my heart as that thought passed through my head.

As I was sitting down I felt a wave of energy start to pass into my body and I turned my head over. Ella who had been gnawing on the warrior, was now using 'Demonic Kiss'. The energy she was taking was being fed into our bodies and rejuvenating us.

The stress my mind was under started to go away and my body's tension loosened. Looking at the centurion's corpse that was next to me I steeled myself and used 'Demonic Kiss' myself. I don't know if there was something holding me back from using it till now, maybe the same fear I had when I started to eat beasts. Would I like it too much? Would it change me?

I felt the energy now slip right into my body and the sensation was out of this world. It was like I was bathing in the warm sun on the perfect afternoon. It just wasn't fair. I knew I could get hooked onto such a feeling if I thought about it too much.

After all the pain and destruction that this apocalypse had caused I couldn't remember the last time I felt such warmth.

I basked in that feeling as the corpse became mummified and the energy slowly run out. Finally opening my eyes, that had closed without me knowing, I slowly shook my head and got back up. I couldn't become complacent like that.

Ella had already moved on to the other person and Rose was on the last corpse, while they were doing that I had a quick look at my status. These 2 new skills, one that had saved my life, I better look at them.

My eyes widened as I looked at my status, something was so out of place that I instantly noticed it. My jaw opened slightly, and a frown appeared on my face, but once I read the description of 'Sacrificial Regeneration', I knew what had happened.

Now reading that, a person may wonder what it meant when it said 'tapped into bodies energies'. Some might think it was your mental energy or maybe physical energy, but my eyes drifted from that description to my exp bar.

The exp that used to be around 100 million was all the way back to 3 million. I was genuinely shocked by how much I had bloody used. I remembered that the cold feeling that was healing my body started to diminish, but using nearly 100 million exp for the whole fight!

My heart bleed a little on the inside. I mean I would get it all back when I crushed these globes in my hand, but I wanted to cry. I stayed in a stupor for another minute before I let out a defeated sigh.

It did save my life in the end, and I could always use that in the future, even if it did hurt. The new question that popped into my head was, could I go down in levels?

I turned and pulled up Ella and Rose's status's as well, to look at their exp bars. They were linked to me so much….. I couldn't have possible…..

And yes I was right we all had lost nearly 100 million exp. I dropped to my knees in defeat. I hadn't used 100 million to stay alive. I had used 300 million!!!!!!!!!

It took even longer this time before I pulled myself back. I could only shake my head and look at the other skill I had acquired.

I rubbed my chin as I looked at this skill; it was basically what I always had once I developed my spirit a little. I've had this skill since the hospital. So why now was it becoming a skill? Was it not something that everyone had?

Actually I had never thought about the fact that it may be something I innately had. But it did raise questions about somethings. If spirit vision was a skill that could be gained by raising spirit, then the people I just faced should have also been able to use it.

But they didn't respond to our positioning or anything. Still I had no clue why it would only become a skill now? Especially when I was about to die, it just didn't make sense. Finishing up with that I crushed their globes, these 4 should be exactly like Nadia, I would level at least 5 times right with this much?

Damn I hoped so.

Crushing all the globes message boxes appeared in my vision.

Pulling up my status again I started to cry again as I looked at the amount I needed to level. This shit is ridiculous.

I now had to get a billion! A fricking Billion!!!!

I almost destroyed the tables around me in my anger as I saw the exp for the next level. Something else also came out with one of the globes. I hadn't gotten a special piece of gear in a long time.

It shined brightly as it rested at my feet and after a few seconds a weapon appeared in front of me.
