I concentrated back on the special as I got rid of the screen, I couldn't have any distractions. It now seemed to be done savoring the infant it had just consumed. Once it was done, he turned his head towards me.

I cut a sorry figure as I stood close to a desk in the room, my padded cloths that I was wearing, were torn and blood was slowly trickling down.

Isn't this a damn fatal injury? Can I survive even if I kill this thing?

I grit my teeth as I dodged another attack. This couldn't go on, I had to retaliate. Even though its AGI was high and I was having trouble continuing to evade his attacks, he kept doing the same thing. He always charged straight at me and pounced. It looked like the 7 INT he had still didn't make him smart.

It was the only advantage I had, and the only chance I had left.

Using the time that it took for the special to pull itself out, I pulled out my blade and swung towards its head.

*Dang*

The force that was sent back towards my wrist made my grip loosen on the blade and I almost drop it.

Holy shit! I hadn't been able cause more than a superficial wound. I had barely cut 3 centimeters into its head. How in the hell am I supposed to kill this thing if my blade can barely cut it?

Despair coursed through me as I saw the result of my plan.

My god, what is this thing?!

In my short moment of stupor the special used that moment to swing its leg at me. I was angry about the damage I had caused, so much so it didn't pounce on me, but seemed to throw its leg in a fit of rage.

*Crack*

My sight flipped around and I slammed onto my back a few meters away. I sharp pain shooting through my leg.

*ARRGH*

I shouted out in pain, a bone in my leg seemed to have snapped. The pain was unbearable and I almost instantly fainted.

The pain caused anger to course through me, and my rage boiled up. It cooled off my head and stopped me from blacking out. If it wasn't for the skill I would definitely never wake up again.

I slowly backed off by sliding on my back. I couldn't feel my leg at the moment as I moved away from the special. I was screwed now; I couldn't use my speed any more.

I slowly pulled myself up and stared at the special making its way over. It seemed to know I was disabled and in pain. It slowly walked over not in any rush, it knew it had me.

I panicked as I lent on one of the only remaining benches in the room. The only thing keeping me up at the moment was my skill cold rage, and probably the over dose of adrenaline that was going through my blood.

I slowly raised the blade in my hand as it finally reached me; I had no idea on what to do.

It seemed to smile as it looked at me and pounced forward. It couldn't miss me now.

As it pounced my eyes flashed, this was all I had left.

I dropped all weight in my body and fell on my ass. From there I quickly rolled to the side and ignored the pain in my leg. I stuck out my blade and swung it up towards its legs. I couldn't put a lot of force in to the swing but it worked out.

The special slightly in the air, because of the pounce, tumbled to the ground face first.

*Smack*

A loud smacking sound rang out as its head struck the ground, this was it.

Having only just avoided being stuck under the specials body. I rolled back over and scrambled onto its back. I used all of my weight to force its body to stay on the ground for just a few more seconds, as I grabbed the bench again and raised myself.

From my vantage point, just above him, I raised my blade and pointed it down at the area between its neck and spine. With all the force I could muster, I threw all my weight and plunged downwards.

*Slick*

The blade plunged into the neck and suck down slowly, all my weight pushing it forwards. The special thrashed around as the blade slowly sunk in. This motion caused intense pain to go through my body. I didn't care for it as I continued to lean downwards.

Finally after a good 10 seconds of thrashing about, the special finally stopped moving and…

With the screen popping up strength finally left my body as I slumped over.

It was finally dead.

I slowly dragged my blade out as I slide over next to the specials body. I had no strength to spare as I looked at where I was.

To my surprise, I was next to the cocoon that the blood was being fed to.

This damn thing!

I used what little strength I had and slashed at the cocoon. Unlike the web pattern around the room, this one instantly burs open when I slashed my sword.

What?

Glittering gold light started to shine out as the cocoon disintegrated, it looked exactly like what happened when my family started to disappear, but the gold sparkle to it, made it look like a treasure was just discovered in a movie.

With my final strength I looked into the cocoon.

There lay an infant. Unlike a normal looking baby, this one had very pale skin. Almost white in color and it had red colored irises. The black hair on it contrasted against the skin and made its eyes look like they shined in a blood ruby color.

This was definitely not a human.

I Stared at the baby as my vision started to become hazy, the adrenaline was wearing off and I couldn't hold on much longer.

The pain I was feeling from my body throbbed and made my thoughts hazy. My internal injuries where acting up as I spit out some blood that welled up. My leg and ribs where probably also bleeding.

I lifted my sword at the sight of the infant, this was not a human, and I definitely had to kill it. I raised my blade and couldn't help but to use analyze on it.

Oh my god, she is too dangerous. I had to kill her, who knows what will happen if she's given time to grow.

I continued to lay there with my blade raised, staring down.

My hand wouldn't move.

I kept trying to convince myself as my strength was leaving me. I didn't have time to hesitate here, I'm about to faint.

I coughed up another mouthful of blood which splashed into the cocoon. Before losing my strength to hold my blade. It dropped to the ground beside me as my mind started to darken.

God I'm such an idiot, this is such a stupid decision!

That was the last thought I had before I fainted.
