Chapter 967: Chapter 666 Shock_2 Chapter 967: Chapter 666 Shock_2 The Harpist Alliance almost never appeared in public, and to be honest, they were often quite similar to spies, which explained why the leaders of various cities deeply despised these ubiquitous pests.
But an organization like the Tribunal that so blatantly advocated human supremacy… well, that was truly rare on the Faelun Continent.
“Hmm, so should we be thankful that they've classified us as subhumans?”
The Dwarf snorted irritably. Dwarves were a race with strong self-esteem who always believed that humans were humans and dwarves were dwarves. Dwarves had never aspired to become humans. Of course, there were disputes between humans and dwarves, such as the dwarves considering humans stupid and cowardly, while humans thought dwarves were stubborn and inflexible.
But to blatantly regard them as a subhuman race… well, that was a different matter altogether.
Did that not imply that dwarves were an inferior race compared to humans?
Now, the quick-tempered dwarf could no longer contain himself.
“I'd advise you to watch your words.”
Just then, the Elf Ranger joined the conversation.
“Don't forget that just a moment ago, they blew up that foolish Heim Priest's head because… 'The Tribunal does not allow any questioning or hostile actions.'”
“This is just like a tyrant. Are you sure this isn't Ban's headquarters?”
“I think this might be a bit different…”
Amelia felt compelled to step in and explain at this point.
“To my knowledge, the Great Judge holds a deep disdain for the Heim Church… no fondness whatsoever. When he first arrived in Neverwinter City, he declared that both Dessel, a Heim Paladin, and the deity he worshipped were a joke… the two parties almost came to blows then… ”
“Oh, I like that.”
The Mage couldn't help but whistle. Typically, rulers favored the Heim Church since the faith of Heim was seen as the most obedient and useful dog in the eyes of the rulers.
After all, Heim was lawful “neutral,” not lawful “good.”
Tyler's Paladins would not tolerate complicity in tyranny, but the Heim Believers, well, that was uncertain.
“So, the Tribunal has a grudge against the Heim Church? Is their creator perhaps a powerful Mage?”
The rivalry between Heim Believers and Mages had long been daily life on the Faelun Continent, and everyone had grown accustomed to it.
“It's hard to say.”
The Elf Ranger moved his ears, glanced around, and the Steel Warrior leading the way seemed completely unconcerned with their conversation.
“But I can confirm that these… warriors are not living beings, for I sensed no vibrant aura of life from them.”
“Ah, I noticed that too.”
The Mage nodded.
“Transplanting souls into armor to create perfect mechanical servants is indeed similar to a Necromancer's methods.”
“So, are we about to meet a Necromancer next?”
The Warrior frowned, his expression serious. Spellcasters were generally peculiar, but that was beside the point. However, Necromancers… to be honest, they were indeed the most dangerous among all spellcasters.
“Mr. Duanmu is certainly not a Necromancer.”
Amelia shook her head, but quickly added another comment.
“But he is indeed a Mage; please remember this point.”
“Isn't that obvious?”
Facing Amelia's reminder, everyone was slightly puzzled. Can't we tell that he's a mage at a glance?
Only Luganis in the back snickered quietly and said nothing; she naturally understood why Amelia would say this, but it didn't concern her, so Luganis just enjoyed the show.
During their conversation, a massive building appeared before them, and just the sight of it was enough to astonish them.
“Oh, this really is…”
Gazing at the Metal Cathedral basking in the sunlight, the Warrior was dumbstruck. Silver Moon City was known as the most culturally prosperous city of the Northern Land, boasting a variety of architectural styles where any artist or architect could freely showcase their talent, but he had never seen such an imposing and majestic building, filled with sanctity and authority.
The Dwarf had an even more unique perspective.
“By the stones above, have you humans lost your minds? You actually used entirely metal to construct such a colossal building?”
“What?”
Hearing this, everyone was taken aback. Upon closer inspection, they discovered, just as the dwarf had said, that the buildings were entirely made of metal from top to bottom!
There wasn't even a single stone to be seen!
That was absolutely shocking!
Even dwarves could not accomplish such a feat! Even if they used all their manufactured metal for building, it still couldn't be done!
Well, considering dwarves lived underground, they didn't need to.
“I never imagined the Tribunal was so formidable.”
“Perhaps we should reassess the strength of this organization.”
The Warrior's expression was solemn and serious. Being able to gather so much metal and use it to construct such a massive group of cathedrals was unimaginably bold, indicating that this organization named the Tribunal possessed tremendous strength–even an Archmage would find it hard to accomplish this feat.
“Perhaps we should consider more where this strange entity came from.”
