"Don't worry about it," Lu Tianzi said. "I guess this means that you will be returning to your sect now?"

"Actually, I still have one more stop to make before returning," Young Master Xuan Hao scratched his cheek in embarrassment, as though he was a kid who got caught doing something wrong. "I am heading to Sacred Cliff City to hopefully find a suitable weapon for myself."

"Sacred Cliff City?" Lu Tianzi asked.

"Has Brother Tianzi not heard of Sacred Cliff City?" Young Master Xuan Hao revealed a look of surprise. "Sacred Cliff City is also known as the City of Artificers, renowned as the gathering place for talented smiths and artificers from all over the world. It is said that the top few rankers of the Heaven's Warrior List all got their weapons from there. Moreover, the city is independent of any external influence, meaning that none of the four ancient sects have power over it. Whether one is able to obtain a suitable equipment there is entirely up to the individual's capability."

"So that's the case..." Lu Tianzi nodded. "But what is this Heaven's Warrior List?"

"Does Brother Tianzi not know about the Heaven's Warrior List either?" Young Master Xuan Hao could not believe what he was hearing.

How could any martial artist be so ignorant of the world affairs, not to mention someone who was this capable?

Nevertheless, Young Master Xuan Hao tried not to let his thoughts show as he continued to Lu Tianzi.

"The Heaven's Warrior List is a ranking board that lists the top hundred members of the younger generation," Young Master Xuan Hao explained. "This ranking is decided by three main attributes – age, talent, as well as overall combat strength. It is constantly being updated, but just getting ranked on the Heaven's Warrior List is a martial artist's honour!"

"The Timeless Flame Sect's top talent Linye Caixia is ranked at the fourth place, even above Dongquan Juewei from the Divine Storm Sect!" Ruan Ling spoke up from beside Young Master Xuan Hao.

"Dongquan Juewei?" Lu Tianzi exchanged glances with Nanlan Qianxue. "In that case, is Bayuen from the White Tiger Immortal Sect on the Heaven's Warrior List as well?"

"Does Brother Tianzi know Dongquan Juewei and Bayuen?" Young Master Xuan Hao was surprised to hear that. "Bayuen is ranked second on the Heaven's Warrior List, only below his monstrously talented junior apprentice of the same sect."

"He is ranked second among all of the younger generation?" Lu Tianzi rubbed his chin in contemplation.

That explained why Bayuen had been given such preferential treatment back at the Divine Storm Sect.

But if that was the case, who was ranked at the top of the Heaven's Warrior List?

As if reading his mind, Young Master Xuan Hao immediately gave him the answer he needed. "First place on the Heaven's Warrior List is Bayuen's junior apprentice from the White Tiger Immortal Sect, a supremely talented martial artist named Wuye Mingxuan. I have never seen him before, but I heard that he is an unprecedented genius unlike any that the world has ever seen!"

"Wuye Mingxuan?" Lu Tianzi widened his eyes in surprise as he was reminded of the somewhat eccentric Overlord that he had met on Wondertrap Mountain.

To think that he would come across this name again...

Then again, it was only to be expected.

Just in terms of cultivation level itself, how could Bayuen and Dongquan Juewei compare to Wuye Mingxuan who had already broken through to the Overlord realm?

On top of that, Wuye Mingxuan seemed to be younger than Bayuen. According to Young Master Xuan Hao, Wuye Mingxuan was even Bayuen's junior apprentice.

This meant that Wuye Mingxuan's talent far exceeded Bayuen.

If Bayuen could be ranked second despite all that, then it came as no surprise that Wuye Mingxuan would be ranked first!

The only thing Lu Tianzi did not expect was for Wuye Mingxuan to actually be from the same White Tiger Immortal Sect as Bayuen.

Of course, that did not concern Lu Tianzi much either.

It was not as though he was familiar with either of them.

"Does Brother Tianzi know Wuye Mingxuan as well?" Young Master Xuan Hao asked after noticing the look on Lu Tianzi's face.

"I've only heard of him before, but I did not know he is this impressive," Lu Tianzi shook his head.

"Sir Wuye Mingxuan really is an impressive person!" Ruan Ling suddenly chimed in enthusiastically. "According to what I have heard, he was born from a normal merchant family, and his family had to scrim and save to provide him barely enough resources he needed for cultivation. Even so, he strived hard and managed to realise his incredible potential, becoming the strongest and most talented of the younger generation, as well as a core member of the powerful White Tiger Immortal Sect. It can be said that his family's belief in him really paid off, and they have now become a small influence on their own."

"Not just that, but Wuye Mingxuan's personality is said to be extremely upright," another of Young Master Xuan Hao's companions named Bing Jie spoke up. "He is humble despite his achievements, and even spend much of his time hunting down the Radiant Raven Sect, putting a stop to their operations for the sake of the masses!"

"The Radiant Raven Sect?" Lu Tianzi caught something that he was interested in. "May I know if the brothers and sisters here have more information regarding the Radiant Raven Sect?"

Young Master Xuan Hao felt the corner of his lips twitch.

"Brother Tianzi, it is not that I want to say this, but you really need to brush up on your general knowledge if you wish to travel around without getting into trouble," Young Master Xuan Hao chided. "As you should already know, the central regions of the continent is largely divided into territories controlled by the four ancient sects, namely the Timeless Flame Sect, the Divine Storm Sect, the Sky Sabre Mountain, as well as the White Tiger Immortal Sect. As for the Radiant Raven Sect, little is known about them other than the fact that they operate in the shadows and their unscrupulous means to achieve their aims. Some say that they are an influence that possess power just below that of the ancient sects, but no one has ever been able to verify that."

"I see..." Lu Tianzi felt a bit regretful that there wasn't more information about the Radiant Raven Sect, but it could not be helped.

Since it was an organisation that operated in the shadows, it was only natural that most people would not know much about it.

"Brother Tianzi doesn't have to be so worried," Young Master Xuan Hao laughed. "The Radiant Raven Sect might be influential, but they still dare not offend any of the four ancient sects. In fact, even at Sacred Cliff City where I am headed, the Radiant Raven Sect would not dare to do anything funny. After all, Sacred Cliff City is being ruled by the Burning Titan Overlord – a Grand Core realm Overlord!"

"A Grand Core realm Overlord?" Lu Tianzi asked again.

But this time, Young Master Xuan Hao did not find it strange that Lu Tianzi did not know what he was talking about.

"It is not surprising that Brother Tianzi is unaware. After all, not many people know of the different cultivation levels of Overlord realm powerhouses," Young Master Xuan Hao gave a meaningful smile. "The Overlord realm is divided into three main stages. A newly broken through Overlord would be at the Nascent Core realm, followed by the True Core realm and finally the Grand Core realm. To have reached the Grand Core realm means that the Burning Titan Overlord is considered one of the strongest of all Overlords!"

Lu Tianzi could not help but reveal a look of surprise.

Since he was named the Tempest Overlord, the leader of the Divine Storm Sect was probably still only at the Overlord realm.

For the Burning Titan Overlord to be at the peak of the Overlord realm, didn't that mean his cultivation level was at least on par with the leader of one of the four ancient sects?

So that was why Young Master Xuan Hao said that none of the four ancients sects had power over Sacred Cliff City.

Just the Burning Titan Overlord alone was enough of a deterrence!

The conversation continued to flow, and Lu Tianzi managed to learn more about the continent from Young Master Xuan Hao and his companions.

Before they knew it, the other bank of the Canal of Misery had come into sight.

The two separate groups of passengers had now mixed together as one, and alighted in the midst of chatter.

From behind the ferry's ship wheel, a figure dressed in a full black outfit stood in silence, watching the group as they walked away from the ferry port.

Hmm?

Lu Tianzi turned around after sensing someone's perception fall upon him, only to see the ferry captain standing there looking at them.

Her dark veil hid the emotions in her eyes, and even Lu Tianzi was unable to see through her thoughts.

But at this moment, the captain's voice sounded in his head.

"Thank you for protecting the ferry."

Lu Tianzi was surprised, but he quickly smiled and nodded his head in response.

Seemingly satisfed with the response she received, the ferry captain turned and disappeared into the lower decks of the ferry.

"What is it, Brother Tianzi?" Young Master Xuan Hao asked.

"No, it's nothing," Lu Tianzi shook his head. "It's been an enjoyable journey, but I guess it is time for us to part."

"Actually, since you guys have no particular destination in mind, why don't you come with us to Sacred Cliff City?" Young Master Xuan Hao suggested.

"Oh?" Lu Tianzi looked towards Nanlan Qianxue, who promptly shrugged in response.

It was obvious that Nanlan Qianxue was intending to follow Lu Tianzi's decision as always.

"If Brother Xuan Hao doesn't mind, we will impose on you further then," Lu Tianzi quickly decided.

Rather than travel around aimlessly, they might as well go check out this Sacred Cliff City that Young Master Xuan Hao had spoken of.

Perhaps they would be able to find a weapon or two that would be of use as well!

"Hahaha! Don't worry about it! Just sit back and allow me to bring you guys to see the world!" Young Master Xuan Hao laughed heartily.

Just like that, the group left the ferry port and started heading in the direction of Sacred Cliff City.

After they moved a certain distance from the Canal of Misery, the mysterious suppression on their flight capabilities was lifted, and they started flying through the air.

Unfortunately, three of Young Master Xuan Hao's companions had to leave the group and was unable to accompany them further. After they reported about the attack on the ferry to their respective influences, they were immediately summoned back by their elders who feared for their safety.

Only Young Master Xuan Hao and Ruan Ling did not bother reporting back about the incident.

From this, Lu Tianzi also realised that the five of them were actually friends who belonged to different influences. As for how they got to know each other, Lu Tianzi was not curious enough to ask.

Sacred Cliff City was not far from the ferry port, and it did not take long before they arrived.

From a distance, Lu Tianzi could already see the huge bustling city ahead.

While it might not look as grand as Divine Storm City, it was not too far from it either.

Lu Tianzi could not help but let out a sigh of relief as he descended from the sky with the rest of the group.

Since Sacred Cliff City was independent of the four ancient sects, this meant that they had finally left the vast territories controlled by the Divine Storm Sect.

As long as they remained in the city, they would no longer need to worry too much about their pursuers!
