At Feria's answer, the knight turned around for a moment. When he realized the Feria was looking at the soil and not the castle, he couldn't help but laugh. Feria was taken aback. She got carried away but she knows from the atmosphere that she was making fun of. she began to walk before the knight with a frown.

“Wait a minute. I'm sorry. I just couldn't help but laugh at the unexpected reply. I didn't mean anything bag. I beg your pardon.”

The knight hurriedly catches up to Feria.

the unmaintained garden and house were so run down that would make the princesses faint. However, Feria checked the soil in a speed of light. The knight observed Feria for some time. She was eager that he lost his chance to speak.

“Excuse me. Is she the 31st consort?”

The Head Maid appeared behind the knight. the knight shrugged his shoulders as he answered, “Yes.” One eyebrow of the Head Maid was raised.

“31st Consort, can I have a moment?”

Unlike the knight, the Head Maid didn't hesitate to speak to her. Feria was surprised at the presence of the woman.

“What is it?”

Though Feria didn't feel anything good about her, she still answered.

“I am the Head Maid. When will your maid come?”

“…”

“31st consort?”

“I don't have a maid. I don't want one.”

Feria was tired of it. How could a countryside girl have a maid or a server? Feria could do anything by herself, she didn't think that a maid would be necessary. What was necessary for Feria was not a maid but a farm that would turn this garden into a field.

Above all, the Head Maid calls Feria as '31st Consort'. Even the knight knows her name, why didn't the Head Maid know it?

“…Is that so? Then we won't get you a maid. There's no maid in the palace that wished to be with the 31st consort. I'm glad to hear that.”

The knight's eyebrows raised. Her eyebrows thought wrinkled as the frown.

“I didn't want to come here either. You're the last consort. The poor consort of the lottery could only come to see the king once in a month. It's convenient for me.”

Feria deliberately going against the Head Maid. She thought that if she was hostile with the Head Maid. She could see that they won't let the king come. Feria just wanted to spend 3 months relaxing here. She'd like to go home quickly.

“Then you'll be free until the 31st.”

The Head Maid hmph and left. The knight bowed to Feria with an apologetic face.

“I'll see you in the morning.”

“Now I want a complete set of farming tools!”

This is the beginning of Feria's life in the palace.
